Staff were really friendly, we had a little mix up with the cabin but not Thier fault at all, they really made an effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Honestly would find it hard to find a nicer bunch, Lisa in particular was amazing! Breakfast was also fantastic, really good value as well! Impeccable cleanliness of the cabins and all the facilities. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Great job all round!

The shower cubicle in the shepherd's hut was a bit of a squeeze and the water temperature wasn't constant. Hot water dipped every few minutes but not too bad that one couldn't have a shower. No mirror in the bathroom which would be useful (especially for ladies to do make-up etc). In fact no mirror anywhere. A second set of pillows would be useful for more comfort on the bed. For a cabin accommodating two people, need to check that there is 2 of everything as we were missing some cutlery and glasses.

Perfect romantic weekend getaway with easy travel (not too far from home but far enough to be away!) Lovely, peaceful setting (might be busy during peak times though). The accommodation was adequate for two people for a short stay and the hot tub sealed the deal for us. Private and well stocked with more logs to have a bonfire or keep the external woodfire stove stoked for the hot tub. Hot tub was ready for us upon arrival and clean! Adequate kitchenette with electric plate (1) and microwave and fridge. We barbecued each night to make it easier to cater but there is a lovely restaurant/bar/café on site and within easy walking distance from the cabin if you fancy having a meal out. Prices looked reasonable and food looked great. Staff were friendly and helpful and sorted one issue regarding keys out very quickly when we first arrived. My hubby and I will definitely be back and perhaps bring the children as there are also bigger cabins available to suit families. Remember to bring towels and bring extra so you can hot tub to your heart's content.

The cabins are really well presented and have an enclosure round most , which makes them ideal for visitors with dogs.

The bed was very soft. The nice patio furniture from the photos has been replaced by a picnic table.

Warm and cosy cabin surrounded by nature. Very peaceful. The wood fired hot tub was a nice treat, especially with its new roof as it rained most of the weekend.

The kitchenette only had a plug in electric hob which made cooking a bit harder with only having 1 ring but thats me just being picky! Everything was perfect!

The heating wasn’t working when we arrived but we managed to get it working but it was very cold. Lots of flooding however that didn’t affect our stay. Hot tub needs constant management to get up to heat with the fire.

The cabin was absolutely lovely. Really cosy. Loved the hot tub and fire pit!

The only thing I would say is I paid £10 for birthday decorations and expected a little more than 4 balloons and a couple of small banners. But it was still lovely and my girlfriend liked it. I just would have decorated myself if I knew it would have just been that, to save some money.

It was a beautiful cabin and the hot tub was brilliant. It was very peaceful and cosy, all of the facilities worked well, the food at hubbles was great and the cabin was very clean and homely. Have reccomended the place to a couple of friends, one of whom actually has booked to stay in March.

Just make sure you arrive in the daytime! We visited last December and unfortunately didn't get there till 5ish.It was pitch black and you can not see a thing. Took us a good while to locate our cabin. Thank god for one of the stuff who happened to be around to take us to our cabin, which happened to be through the tall trees 😅🤣

Worked out where the cabin was and the keysafe from instructions so didn't need to find anyone or an office, lovely to come back at night and wander across the field to our own cosy little bubble of warm and comfort without having to worry about anyone else around.

the only small issue was the TV had very bad signal so couldn’t watch much without it cutting out.

easy to find and get into, was immaculately clean and very cosy with lovely decor. slept very well and lovely having a fenced in patio area for our dog to go out safely. food was amazing from the restaurant, breakfast was very good too and staff were lovely and friendly.
