Everything was perfect.

Our 4th stay in Wine Down, we absolutely love it here, it truly is like home from home. As soon as you open the door, you feel relaxed. Gorgeous views from the lodge, excellent accommodation, very spacious and has everything you need, spotless. Perfect place to spend chilled days taking in the views.

FAntastic lodge, with its own hot tub. Very private with amazing views of the Yorkshire countryside. Lovely walks and a great pub in the village. Exceptionally well appointed and a gas BBQ on the decking. What more could we ask for?

It is not a problem but slightly confusing on arrival with the three lodges being together; the owners did get back to me immediately but, I know the delivery drivers did say they struggled with signal - perhaps a booking first name or nickname on the lodge so we can figure out which one is booked for guests.

Gorgeous location, everything you need, immaculate inside (love the hoover lines) added gestures, milk, tea and coffee and prosecco and little things, like bin bags and clothes/tea towels that I always have to travel with, be fantastic if everywhere did this. Was really appreciated.

Nothing! Other than it was only for one night and I wish I could have stayed longer! If it wasn’t booked for someone else I’d of booked an extra night!

Beautiful location, so relaxing and peaceful, everything you needed and more, the lodge it’s self was so clean and beautiful, not a thing out of place, it was as if we was the first people to of stayed there, there was milk and Prosecco in the fridge on arrival which was a lovely surprise, owner was lovely and replied to any questions straight away.. this really is a little hidden gem! I’d definitely return 🥰

The location was a little bit hard to access due to flooding. Maybe a warning could be sent out for future guests. But I admit, it is kind of expected in a rural area.

Absolutely beautiful property, great facilities, spotless rooms. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The owners have left us a bottle of prosecco in the fridge which was a beautiful gesture.

There is nothing to dislike about the property but the TV control in the lounge was not working how it should!

The property was well kept, clean and homely. The views from the raised decking was beautiful. It was well positioned within walking distance to the local pub The Wolds Inn - highly recommended also.

Nothing we didn’t like - our stay was absolutely wonderful. Our only suggestion would be to perhaps consider adding a little coffee machine so people can bring their own pods for a morning latte.

absolutely fantastic. beautiful setting and stunning accommodation. we had such a wonderful time, we can’t wait to come back again. even the little touches; milk and bubbly in the fridge, towels, robes, all cleaning products made it even better. we couldn’t get over how homely it felt. when we walked through the front door, the table lamps and fire was on. it made us feel right at home. the day we arrived, we booked Sunday lunch at the “wolds inn” - staff were fantastic and the food was so yummy! thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location, staff on hand to help if you needed but left to your own. Faultless check in and check out. Lodge is seperated with enough privacy to enjoy the hot tub and take in the beautiful views. Interior beautifully decorated with everything you need. We have enjoyed every minute of the wolds lodge. It has been the ONLY setting we have visited that mirrors the photographs and previous reviews. We stayed two nights and didn't want to leave, the scenery the idyllic location and of course the hot tub were only some of the main attractions. The lodge itself was a home from home, immaculately clean and inviting. We will definitely be back, the attention to detail and unwavering customer satisfaction is an element other professionals within this industry could take heed of.

Absolutely nothing not to like!

We had such a lovely weekend here for my Husbands birthday, everything was just perfect, the lodge, the location, the views, AMAZING! The village itself is just so wholesome and peaceful. The village pub is a 5 minute walk away, the food here was lovely, as were the couple of staff we spoke to. We also called in at 'Rachel's Walnut Cottage Tea Room' just around the corner (again, a few minutes walk away) which was a cute little place! I already miss the place and would definitely stay here again, and would 100% recommend to others x
