    Nothing.

I'd rented a lodge for a one night break for one and it was ideal. Plenty of space for the max of 8. If it was all adults you'd have to draw tickets for room allocation as all so different! Perfect views. Was impressed with the location of the end lodge feeling I was on the edge of a woodland. Very clean, enough cooking pots in kitchen. Sofa comfier than it looks on photos. Perfect view from bed. Liked having decking upstairs and downstairs.

There wasn’t a lot of choice for vegetarians on the dinner menu, sadly.

Beautiful location, quiet and a real getaway. Staff were soo friendly and helpful in all departments.

    NO HALAL Food available

Overall it was really great experience, only suggestion for improvement would to include HALAL options for dinner and breakfast.

Breakfast a shame you had to order fried eggs and a bit dried up .Room needed new wallpaper as all peeling off and paint all worn . Carpet also worn . For over £200 for one night would not stay in a room that needs to be redecorated. We stayed here over eight years ago as we had a wedding there and the rooms have definitely worn now .very disappointed x

Breakfast service was very slow. I had to wait a very long time for my eggs to be cooked and the rest of my food was cold when they arrived. To be fair I think they were very short staffed and the poor woman who was waiting on the tables was run ragged trying her best. Very disappointing but hopefully just a temporary situation.

The location is perfect. Room was very comfortable..We enjoyed the spa and pool.

We didn't like a few minor things we found in our lodge. One was a broken wine glass found in the cupboard, a t shirt in the bottom of a wardrobe, a 1 inch nail my son trod on found in a bedroom, and my bedside lamp was not working. I have both emailed and let the team know in person about this, and was advised I would be contacted by a manager, but haven't yet, but not sure what they can do really for us, other than improve things for the next guests, Also, not the hotel's fault, but a suggestion would be to have numbered parking spaces allocated per lodge. We were supposed to have 2 spaces, but were lucky to have found 1 in a separate designated parking bay not next to the lodges (many spaces double parked right outside our lodge).

We liked the lodge location, and the view of the golf course from our balcony. The greens looked appealing to my husband whom is a keen golfer. We also were warmly greeted by the staff that we passed by as we used the facilities. We could not find the hair dryer (it was not where the instructions said it would be). We rang reception using the lodge's phone, and were told where it was (under the stairs), we couldn't find it and the lady on reception brought us the dryer. It was there, but our coats were hiding it. There was a iron and ironing board which is always handy. TV was good, we brought our Apple TV and the wifi was perfect for streaming (no lag). We had brekkie for about £16/£17 per person, and this was alright, service good. We also ate lunch in the clubhouse which was also good. We also used the gym, the pool and spa facilities which were all good also, as were the staff. Overall, my husband enjoyed our stay, which was paramount, as it was to celebrate a milestone birthday. We had booked a meal over at Lympstone Manor and this hotel was a short drive away, and half the cost.

The only negative - the decor was in need of repair. The wallpaper in my room was beginning to peel off the wall in places so let the rest of the room down.

Wasn’t so keen on the restaurant- more like a cafe with really bright lights that were uncomfortable to sit under. Some fellow diners were served cold food which had to be returned. Ours was ok but not wonderful.

Good facilities, good room and comfy bed. Pool was good. Breakfast was good.

The inside of the main building could do with some updating including the reception area and corridors. A pool table or access to board games would be a great addition as there isn't much to do of an evening

Loved the pool and spa facilities, lovely big sauna and hot tub which meant even when it was busy you were able to get a space. Room freshly decorated.

Breakfast was not great. Very basic offering, basic quality and probably the worst coffee from the machine I've ever had. Change the breakfast spec.

Great hotel, very good spa and good location. Staff listening and resolved my query about the room immediately.
