Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Cottage homely, well equip and in an idyllic location. Exceptionally clean and the staff were very accommodating and helpful! It was the perfect base for our family Xmas break. We will definitely be booking again!

United KingdomCan't park next to the property so a few minutes walk - bear in mind if carrying a lot of stuff or (like us) have 3 young children and all the associated gear.
Lovely house, feels like it's only just been refurbished and everything was in immaculate condition and very clean. Really well equipped kitchen. Close to some wonderful river swimming spots (Featherstone) and traffic free walking/cycling routes (South Tyne Trail).

United KingdomNothing really to dislike, however the stairs are quite steep so a bit worried our 9 year old grandaughter could tumble if she got out at night and was sleepy as bathroom downstairs. The king bed was a bit soft for us oldies, but that is just personal preference. Slept well though. Not really anything negative.
Very good range of cookware, well equiped kitchen, big soft towels, hot shower, cosy and clean cottage. Nice welcome card from owners and milk and sparkly in fridge.Lovely decor throughout. Pretty village location with view over allotments. Easy to get into Haltwhistle that has supermarkets, shops, cafes and a fab outdoor pool.

United KingdomTheres nothing we didnt like I would just advise future visitors to be mindful that parking is a few steps away, round the corner from the frount of the cottage and to go steady down the stairs.
Lovely and friendly area surrounded by nature. The cottage was cosy and peaceful with everything you could need for a restful stay. We really appreciated our welcome gift and having everything we needed to make a brew after a long journey. We felt very looked after. Thankyou :)
