If you were staying for more than a couple of nights you might want better cooking facilities. The fridge is small and there's a microwave and a hot plate. We managed fine - I cooked a lovely risotto one night - but if you want proper self-catering, you might be better somewhere with a proper kitchen.

Location was amazing, right next to the church and parsonage. The rooms are bursting with character, the whole place had a quirky and interesting feel. Despite being small, the room contained everything we needed (although I did spend some time looking for some of it). Clean and comfortable.

Quite compact. As a solo traveller it was fine but for 2 it would be cosy.

Just opposite Haworth church so central to the village and convenient for walks. Great directions and instructions from Nathaniel before arrival. Lovely and warm with the electric fire.

A quirky, olde little place in a perfectly quaint and beautiful village. Literally a 30 second walk to the village high street and right opposite the church/ Brontë museum. We had a perfect little getaway :)

    Nothing :)

The property is really cute, quirky, with bags of character. It’s also super central, so the location is perfect. It is next to the church which they supply ear plugs for, but we were lucky with the bells not chiming. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

    Everything was perfect.

The decor, the attention to detail and all the extra, thoughtful touches. The warm cosy fire which made us feel welcome right from the start and every time we returned from our exploration of the village and the surrounding countryside. The amazing location right opposite the Parsonage and just a few steps from the pubs and shops. We had an absolutely lovely stay and Nathaniel was the perfect host and responded quickly to all my messages. Thank you Nathaniel for a fantastic stay in your gorgeous Wool Combers Rest. We will definitely be back! p.s. the pictures on the website don't do it justice .. it really does exceed expectations!

Cooking facilities were OK for a weekend stay but would have been difficult cooking for a longer stay.

Great location. Lovely warm fire waiting for us on arrival, which was a welcoming sight on a cold winters evening.

The fridge is a bit small, if staying more than a couple of days, but not a major problem!

A fabulous location for exploring Haworth and the surrounding areas. A special place, lots of charm and character. We found it to be spotlessly clean, the bed super comfortable and the accommodation contained everything we needed for a short break. Including a complimentary bottle of wine! The church bells chime every 15 mins, which adds to the general ambience…although, if you're a very light sleeper,it could be an issue. (they provide earplugs). Hosts excellent and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay:)

The village hall is very close, so if there is a function or party on, you will hear the noise (wedding party when I was there). Same with an adjacent pub garden. Ear plugs are provided. Chairs are too high to sit comfortably at the table (and I am quite small). Space/shelf for crockery and cutlery would be nice, freeing up the table. The fridge is very small.

Very fast and helpful communication. The location was perfect, about 100m from the parsonage museum and less than that from the main street. Quiet, tucked-away location - but see negative points re this. The house is old and full of character, the room is very comfy, bathroom spacious, hot water and heating working. I loved hearing the church bells chime, they are quite quiet. Wonderful walking in the area, easy access by public transport to Keighley, Hebden Bridge and other places. Would highly recommend.

But of a health and safety nightmare. Advertised as having a kitchen, so we brought food to cook for breakfast, but the two ring hob plug lead did not reach the socket. Had to move the stove to the floor so that we could plug into a socket and cook, which was extremely awkward and dangerous. Also the microwave is not sat on a wide enough shelf, so every time the microwave door is opened the whole machine tips down towards you. Could have been a nasty accident with boiling hot food tipping out onto someone.

Very good location, very cosy, lovely room.

Personally, and this is obviously all subjective, as someone who fully self caters, I was unaware that the fridge was very small and only 2 little plug in hobs were available. However, I was able to cook a few bits so that was ok. The floors are wooden as the building is very old so noise was a bit of an issue. Also the church bells do ring every 15 minutes as a warning. I actually got used to them but the owner does also kindly provide ear plugs 👍☺️

The location was perfect, literally a stones throw from the beautiful village and all the shops plus the car park is just around the corner too. Being alone, the size of the room was just right, I think maybe a touch small for a couple? 🤔 It was decorated and furnished beautifully and squeezed all the essentials in for a short stay. The owner was helpful and on hand should you have any issues which was great. The absolute icing on the cake for me was the owners cat Tigger waiting outside when I got back and joining me for several hours to snooze the afternoon away, I really appreciated the feline company!
