Better pillows for the bed. The ones we had were probably due a re-new. they were feather as we like but had lost their life. We could have asked to change them!

The location is spot on and whilst right on the High Street, the soundproofing is effective and rooms to the rear feel like in an oasis anyway. The Tourist information is a stones throw away, it is unfunded now, so we supported that with a few guide purchases and the local knowledge in them was worth every penny; the gentle walk through the church and pasture land with the lambs was helped by glorious sunshine but it helped walk off some of the glorious breakfast, cooked to order, with care, and quality ingredients.

There were a few little things missed with the cleaning, like the bin behind the bath hadn't been emptied, a dirty cotton bud on the floor, the shower room had splashes over the wall/shower cubicle and the towel was on the floor. The kettle had old water left in there. I'm not sure if it had been cleaned in a rush and just missed, but for the price of the room it was disappointing. There were toiletries in the shower room, but nothing for the bath in the bedroom, we couldn't use the ones from the shower room as they were secured to the wall. There was a green light above the door which illuminated the room making it very hard for us to sleep, especially if you are used to a dark room. It couldn't be turned off for safety reasons, so I would recommend bringing a sleeping mask to help block it out. The rooms are advertised as soundproof but we could hear the people above us, and the restaurant and music below our room was quite loud but it stopped around 10pm.

Absolutely beautiful room, my partner booked it for me as a surprise for my first Mothers Day and it was an incredible surprise. Beautiful location, right in the heart of Chipping Campden. Our room had a lovely view over the town. Free standing bath and all the little touches made it feel extra special. Really huge comfortable bed. We didn't see any staff until we checked out, but the person we spoke with seemed really friendly. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus, and it was brought to our room, presented really nicely and tasted delicious. There is a restaurant downstairs that you can order food from to be brought to your room. The restaurant staff were all really friendly too.

One should mention that there is no hotel parking. Free street parking might be a problem in peak months.

Breakfast in the room was amazing. I ended up having to manage early morning work calls which was wonderful with the room service. The wifi, power points, lighting, etc. all great for working remotely.

There was no bubble bath in the room despite there being a bath tub in it.

I liked the fact that parking was right outside. Overall the stay was good. Enjoyed my time.

Traditional Cotswold beautiful build property. Breakfast was served in bedroom. It was delicious. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom wax modern with a powerful shower which was a so refreshing in the morning.
