The property was gorgeous, well kept, quaint, and very cosy. We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The shower was fab, and the bed was so comfortable. Parking was a real bonus A fantastic stay. Highly recommended.

My lovely wife and I had the most delightful and unforgettable stay at Wrenscott in Chagford. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a cozy and charming atmosphere that truly felt like a home away from home. The one-bedroom holiday home was an absolute gem. The private entrance added a sense of exclusivity, and the tastefully designed interior left us in awe. We particularly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the terrace while taking in the picturesque garden views – a perfect start to each day. Now, let's talk about the bed – oh, what an adventure it was! The bed was not just a bed; it was a majestic throne in the clouds. It was so high that we felt like we were on top of the world (or at least the bedroom). Scaling Mount Mattress every night was a delightful challenge, and we can proudly say we conquered it with grace and style. It was like a mini workout before our beauty sleep, and we must say, we woke up feeling like champions each morning. We absolutely loved the uniqueness of the bed and the fun it added to our stay. It's a feature that truly sets Wrenscott apart from other properties. And for those considering a stay, let us assure you – this bed is a testament to the extraordinary experience you'll have at Wrenscott. Wrenscott is a pretty property which offers comfort & privacy. It is rare to find a cottage which offers parking and a garden (suitable for a well behaved dog) in this location, making it a great find.

The cottage was adorable. Lots of lovely touches like a tray laid out for tea when we arrived. The bed was incredibly comfortable which was wonderful. Beautiful garden with added bonus of some rosemary and thyme in pots for cooking. Chagford is a great place to be based, four good pubs, butcher, two bakeries, a dairy, Spar, couple of farm shops and several cafes. We didn't use the car once while we were visiting as there were enough walking options to keep us busy. Frances and Peter were great hosts.

Beautiful little cottage only a couple of minutes walk from the shops and pubs, and the host couldn’t do enough to help. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

We had no complaints at all!

Cozy and comfortable, offering a true home away from home. The accommodation has everything you need. With its own entrance and garden it feels very private, while the very kind and helpful hosts live just next door. Chagford is a very friendly town with nice shops and pubs nearby. We hope to be able to visit Dartmoor again, and will definitely choose to stay at Wrenscott again.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, fresh home made biscuits were waiting for us. Fresh cut flowers as well . Really nice.

if I had to comment, the only thing would be an outside light at the rear to see the dog in the garden. wasn’t a problem as I had a torch.

It was lovely and peaceful with its own parking and so close to the centre and the walks.

Nothing - it was all fabulous!

The property was absolutely stunning. It’s located in a great area in the middle of everything you need, it’s quiet and cosy, and even comes with parking! We were warmly greeted after a long journey and settled in straight away. It felt like a little home away from home, was very clean and had everything we needed for a stay away. Would highly recommend!

We had a couple of rainy days but that's Dartmoor!

We were welcomed with a teapot, cups and pastries ready for tea. Check in was so easy with great communication with Fru. We had stayed before so knew where to park, I'd suggest guests who aren't sure check out entrance to Arch House. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and helpful, it truly feels like a home from home.
