Amazing location, peaceful and rustic. Robert was a great host who wasn't far away if we needed anything. Very well presented and maintained cabin. Highly recommend..

Everything was perfect. We all loved it!

Absolutely beautiful stay in a beautiful setting in the forest. Wyldwood lodge was a lovely log cabin with plenty of space and had everything we needed. Was spotless inside as was surrounding area. Also lovely and warm inside despite it being late October. Cabin heated up lovely. Also a mention to the host Robert who was really helpful and friendly and made our stay as great as it was. Top marks. Would definitely like to return and hopefully will in the near future!!!

More coffee provided would have been great. Bathroom towels were too small, but thats being ultra picky. Still a fantastic stay and would definitley come back in the future.

The one downside was the bed, which was comfortable for my 5’7” but too short for my taller partner.

A wonderfully comfortable and spacious log cabin in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Nobody else around except an infinity of bunny rabbits - to the dogs’ delight! Snug under-floor heating and all kitchen mod cons made it an easy stay. The reception was welcoming and helpful.

The cooking utensils (pots/pans) could be bigger and/or upgraded. We would recommend booking extra time/nights to allow time to use the woods and firepit which were selling points of the lodge but we had no time to use them. The bunk beds were squeaky and a bit unsteady and even though the main bedroom was huge, the bunk area wasn't. The main bed was very small and uncomfortable, broken springs etc which we both woke up in pain from. The shower cubicle we found small.. i struggled to get through the doors as a size 10 but 6 month pregnant woman. Check out time could be a little later as well.. cleaning down everything and packing again to be out by 10am was a struggle with kids and it being mothers day and birthdays so we were trying to do cake and presents and rushing to go.. but thats our own fault for not checking the check out time before we booked. None of this put a downer on our stay though, we would definitely book again, these are just minor issues.

Location- you are literally in the middle of a woods, not just a few trees on one side but a full woods surrounding the property. The main bedroom is huge.

I’m 6”4” so a longer bed or no foot stop would have been nice, but the place is so peaceful I still got a great sleep.

The property is secluded with great surroundings. It was lovely to sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows. Wood and tasty treats supplied by the owners.

Place was huge and facilities were excellent. A very peaceful and beautiful wood to stay in, can definitely recommend. The host was very helpful too and met us as soon as we arrived.

Beautiful accommodation, spacious and immaculate. I’ve seen negative comments regarding recycling and can say this has been sorted. Recycling was available during our stay. Great communication from the host - Robert.

The hosts accommodated our late arrival due to traffic issues, they were very understanding, kept in touch with any questions we had, Hosts were lovely, we cannot wait to go back and stay again. The lodge was lovely, underfloor heating was amazing to come into after a cold trip out. They have pretty much thought of everything you need in the lodge for your stay.

if we had to be very picky as we loved the property the only thing we could say is the bed wasn’t very big, much to my amusement my partners feet were hanging off the end ! haha

The pictures don’t do this property justice, it was huge and so cosy, the unexpected Christmas decorations were amazing. The wooded surrounding gave us some beautiful walls that our dog loved. It was the reading break we needed and it didn’t disappoint at all
