Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe only small downside was the turning to get out of the driveway - it’s a very fast road.
Beautiful little cottage, traditionally decorated and very comfortable - had everything we needed. Lovely little stream running close by. Excellent base to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

United KingdomThere was an issue with flies. They was mainly in the private bathroom in the roof window and we had to use the fly killer a lot. In the main bedroom they was in the window and when you opened the blind they flew out. On the first night we didn't realise there was a fly killer spray so spent the night trying to kill them. They weren't small ones they were really big! It didn't dampen our stay though we was just confused as to where they kept coming from as the windows were all closed due to the weather.
We had a brilliant Christmas spending it in the cottage. It exceeded our expectations. We had everything we could of needed and then some. The host put up Christmas decorations for the children which was amazing. We would without doubt stay again. We visited Tenby which was so beautiful and you aren't too far away from a tesco in the cottage. You literally have everything you need in the kitchen which was handy for cooking Christmas Dinner. Apart from a small issue we had everything else was perfect. Cosy Clean Comfortable Christmassy

United KingdomThis place was faultless! I arrived in the dark and couldn’t find entrance but I got a quick response from Louise and her directions were very clear.
Beautiful cottage with lots of traditional features. Really warm and welcoming. Lovely touches such as Christmas decorations. Felt safe, quiet and comfortable. Really well located for exploring the area. Great list of recommendations for places to visit and eat. I got fish and chips from a place in Broad Haven that I would not have known about otherwise. Would love to stay again.

Italyunfortunately the cottage is very close to the main street and you can hear the cars. In certain hours the traffic is quite intense and it’s quite loud if you are in the garden, although in the evening it is quiet as the traffic is less.
very charming and cosy cottage with everything you need to feel like home. Beautiful decorations and furniture. Louise, the owner, was very nice and helpful.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything we didn't like about the property itself. I think we'd have liked to be closer to a beach but being between a lot of great beaches meant we tried different ones. Also being able to go for a walk from the property would be nice, but not really an option here.
Lovely, well equipped cottage, spacious, and very comfortable. Friendly and thoughtful host. Lovely garden which is enclosed enough to allow our dog off the lead.

NetherlandsBe careful when breaking just before turning left into the side road to the cottage (people drive very fast on the main road). When approaching the cottage from the other side, you need to pass by first (because of the double lines in the middle of the road) and take a turn at the nearest roundabout a few 100 yards ahead.
I guess one of the most charming cottages in Wales. Very nicely renovated, tastefully furnished, clean and convenient with an absolutely stunning nice garden. Great starting point for coastal hikes (Marloes or St. David’s) or a Pembroke Castle visit.

we were attending a wedding nearby and needed a place to stay for 3 nights. As we only live less than 20 miles from the property it was ideal for what we wanted. The weather helped as we had beautiful sunshine for most of our stay. The lawn, garden.and fast running stream along with the flowering Wisteria around the cottage made the setting picture perfect.Inside was very well equipped and the rooms were all very clean and comfortable. In finishing I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Pembrokeshire.
