How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very friendly welcoming from Graham,delyth and Charlie the poochie gave us all the information needed for us to know were to visit for our stay restaurant recommendations days out ect hotel is ideally located for all the places we wanted to go hotel is very clean has everything you need hairdryer,toiletries,comfy bed,tv, tea coffee facilities in room.beautiful views surround the property free parking breakfast in the morning was 10/10 lots of options full cooked Welsh breakfast, cereals , pastry’s,fresh fruit fill you right up for the day I highly recommend this property and will be visiting again we didn’t want to leave.

Excellent former pub in an excellent location for exploring North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. Delyth and Graham are brilliant hosts and great to talk to to find out about the local area for things to do, places to eat. Breakfast…. AMAZING!!

Leaving :). Otherwise there was NOTHING about this place we didn't like
Amazing hosts, awesomely adaptable and really REALLY friendly - nothing was too much trouble The property itself was well presented and spotless - ample free car parking was a welcome bonus Breakfast really set us up for our days. Tasty and generous portions Great location for Conwy and Anglesey Delyth and Graham were perfect hosts and we're already looking forward to seeing them again

Couldn’t walk into Conwy.
Hosts are very friendly. They cooked us breakfast early as we had a race and even offered us a lift. Very clean and comfortable.

There was nothing not to like it is an exceptional hotel.
The owners went out of their way to provide a wonderful stay. The room was large and comfortable,exceptionally clean. The breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful. Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. We loved our stay with Delyth and Graham and can’t wait to return.

I would highly recommend this place Graham and delyth couldn't do enough for us they went above and beyond. Bedroom was lovely and the was amazing. Breakfast was lovely. We will b back thank u both so much

The owners were very welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions about what to see and do which was particularly useful when the weather was not ideal for a hike as we planned. Breakfast was nice, made freshly, with lots of choice available. The room we stayed in was spacious and the shower was great. Would highly recommend for the price - excellent value for money in an excellent location if using a car.

Bigger duvet wife stole during the night.
Excellent breakfast 10/10. Location was good for places we were looking to visit. Off road car park was good. Accommodation was lovely and clean.

A very comfortable room, well-equiped and quiet, with a beautiful view. Breakfast and evening meal on the first day were very good and plentiful and the proprietors arranged for us to eat Chinese at the hotel the second evening. Delicious home-made cakes too. Delyth and Graham were charming. and very helpful. They advised us what to do and where to go on our one full day which proved to be excellent and interesting in spite of the weather, and they made sure we had their telephone numbers in case we got lost. The litle dog Charlie was adorable.

Everything - lovely decor, comfortable bed, spacious room, plenty of tea and coffee with a proper sized mug! The breakfast was beautiful with a wide range of choice. The Conwy Valley is very well situated to access both the mountains and the coast. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was great
OK. Where to start.... I guess the best place to start is with the owners. Delyth & Graham are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. But, on a more practal level... The rooms are fantastic. Spotlessly clean, and we'll equipped. The breakfast is to die for (literally, given the portion size! 😂). The ingredients of the Full Welsh are Top quality. The place has a real 'homely feel'. I COIULD NOT recommend this place more, if it were my own!

Not anyone ‘s fault, the road outside was very busy and a little noisy.

Y Llew Coch is probably the best B &B we have stayed in . Dyleth and Graham are so welcoming , so warm and friendly. Breakfast was superb , fabulous fruit salad and local yogurt , followed by a good quantity of scrambled eggs and avocado . Excellent choice of baked goods jams juices...etc . The room is thoughtfully decorated , spotlessly clean , with everything we needed for our comfort Thank you so much for our stay with you. We would love to come back one day !

The road immediately outside the property was busy and noisy at peak times, ( but quiet at night).

We stayed the night before our walk up Snowdon! On arrival the owners showed us around their beautifully renovated guest house! Nothing it too much for them! Breakfast was plentiful with many options. They even provided a packed lunch for us to take on our walk. We definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the surrounding area and we welcome the chance to return again soon. Thanks Clare and Lee
