Good location. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating would be great in the summer. Good value pub grub in the evening. Saturday night pub quiz, good atmosphere. Nice full English breakfast.

The hosts Sam and Richard, and Rob the bar man, were fantastic people. Very friendly place , great location for many walks. The room was large and had a hallway area for muddy boots. We had room 1 and we had plenty of room for us and the crate for our dog. The shower cubicle is compact, so be aware if you are on the rounder side of cuddly, but the shower was great after a long day of walking. The mattress was a bit soft for us, but we still slept really well, and that's down to preference, not an issue. We ate there on Friday and the food was delicious, good pub food. We had a roast lunch on Sunday before we left, again, delicious and they catered my love of gravy well. Breakfast was full English or any variations you may prefer, also cereal and tons of toast. You'd never know they had only been running the place since September last year. When we left it was like leaving friends and I was quite sad! We'd laughed and laughed all weekend. We have quite a lot of other trips this year or I'd have gone back again but we're definitely booking a stay for next year.. Maybe we'll go for the day as it's only 2 hours from home. We had the best time!!

Very small toilet. Difficult to use for large people. Old wooden ceiling, hence noise from walking upstairs.

Very charming old pub. Very friendly and welcoming staff and managers. Amazing cooked breakfast. One of the best in terms of quality that I have had. Very comfortable bed.

So glad we found this place. Our hosts Samantha and William were warm and welcoming, as we're all the locals we met. We had a lovely family room as I was travelling with my 2 sisters, which was warm, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Bedding and towels were great quality too. Plenty of parking at the Inn; food was plentiful, home-cooked and tasty, breakfast was fabulous. We would definitely book here again for visiting this area as it's also a great location for a base to explore.

Everything! Ye Olde Bowling Green at Bradwell is an absolute Gem of a place. So welcoming, so clean, so relaxing, perfect in every way, I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who cares to listen to me. 5 Stars +

Fabulous place in a brilliant location, especially if you enjoy walking It's walking distance to Castleton and Hope. Very dog friendly, our dog was made very welcome. We stayed overnight and joined in the quiz on Saturday evening. Had a fabulous night, everyone was really friendly. Breakfast was brilliant, full English is highly recommended. Everywhere was lovely and clean, and the staff were all really friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Nothing to dislike .. it’s lovely & very good value

Idyllic location in High Peak .. very pretty inn & super clean & functional bedroom .. super friendly owners, felt very safe & welcome as a lone female traveller. Excellent food & v comfy bed. Delicious dinner .. had veg lasagne for dinner & yum full English brek. My elderly small dog also made very welcome. Highly recommended

I have nothing I didn't like.

The full English breakfast was great and very filling. Free coffee refills and fresh orange juice or apple juice, again if you would like more, just ask. I had no problem with the Wifi and the location was fab. My evening meal was lovely.

Located in the middle of the town with a walk path right next to it. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The room is very clean with a good view.
