Excellent recent refurbishment of restaurant/bar and restrooms. Superb seafood platter in particular at dinner - lovely breakfast. Stunning location/views. Friendly staff who all get on well as a team. Hands on owners. Real value for money for rooms / food and drinks. Also had Sky Sports!

Wifi password not mentioned in room. Had to contact front desk for same. Very poor public transport connectivity only 3 bus trips a day,escalated due to Rail strike in UK. Trying to reach Arnside is a challenging experience. Only recommended for travelling with vehicles. Had to walk 6 km along road with very narrow sidewalk to reach hotel.

Good location along the waterfront. Comfortable bed self sufficient room facilities with shared bathroom. Quite environment with a excellent view of the surroundings from the Knott on top of the hill.

The shower head needs some repairs but it was manageable.

Very friendly staff member who showed me to my room and did as much as she could to accommodation me. A comfortable stay in a cosy, quite town that still had some lively activities for a Saturday night.

One of the beds had a metal frame and squeaked as soon as you looked at it - should really be updated as not helpful for a good nights sleep

The bed was too soft for us but that's just personal preference. It was a shame we had a view of the bins out the window! Better vegan options for pub dinner and breakfast would have been nice.

Quick and efficient check in and out. The room was spacious and had what we needed for a comfortable night's stay. Excellent location. It was absolutely silent at night which was lovely. Parking was easy right outside.

Great location on the sea front. Tony and all the team very friendly and helpful, giving advice on where to visit locally. My room was upgraded to a beautiful bay window view which was perfect and very much appreciated for my first solo trip after being seriously ill and becoming a widow.

The renovations, was emailed before arrival warning us but was not clear that the whole main hotel/bar was completely closed

Great location, accommodation was good, staff were friendly. Had to stay in the back annex due to the main hotel being closed for renovations, but the room was good.

At the time of our stay the pub had the builders and decorators in. The bar and dining room were closed. Because of this it was only a continental breakfast. Tony made us very welcome and was very helpful.

The room was a fabulous room very comfortable and quiet, very clean. The room was in the converted barn , 3 rooms in the barn with patio doors onto the car park. Lovely view of the sea. We were also able to charge our electric car outside the room.

They are having a reburb so a lot of things out of action, like dining room and reception. Doing a fab job keeping open and service still good. Will go back once renovations complete
