My room which was a backroom with very undulating and bare wooden floorboards which had very ragged and dangerous edges in the larger spaces between the planks Also serving only sourdough bread for breakfast ??

Bit noisy with central heating boiler in our room but nothing distracted from comfort.

We were greeted enthusiastically and so efficiently as we expected to be late but got there in time for hot food. Wonderful staff, wonderful food and absolutely loved the location.

The atmosphere of the whole place was very nice. Every member of staff was friendly and accommodating and made us very welcome. The food in the Bar & Restaurant was very good and they have some dishes that were different from the norm and were excellent. If you are thinking of booking this place.......DO!!

We love this pub so much. Situated in the most idyllic village. Perfect for those who fancy getting some fresh air and experience the many walks on offer on the doorstep of this pub! The staff go out of their way to make sure you have an incredible stay. The food on the menu is fantastic. Lots of choice. The Sunday lunch is off the scale. Honestly, haven't had that good a roast dinner in a long time. Breakfast was perfect for what was included in the price and for an extra £10 you could have a cooked breakfast. The room was just perfect. Very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. A lovely log burner in the bar to sit and enjoy perfect company, what more could you ask for?

I cannot think of anything that they could have done better. It was perfect for our needs.

We had a lovely time at Ye Olde George Inn. Staff were very helpful and accommodating as we needed to leave early the next morning. Had dinner the night we stayed and it was delicious. The village itself is very pretty, would have loved to have explored more. It was also in a very handy location close to the South Downs Way.

A lack of heating in our bedroom. The staff twice tried to rectify the problem to no avail. The room was cold. (It is understood that a separate boiler system at the far end of the inn was defective and is being rectified!)

Very pleasant overnight break in our journey to the West Country. (A bit noisy in the breakfast room with Monday morning vacuuming etc. taking place in the adjacent bar!)

Absolutely nothing. Everything about our stay was perfect. It's a great pub, in a great location with fantastic staff, even down to the cleaner.

Everything was absolutely superb. We were blown away with the room. Absolutely fantastic. Very spacious. More than what we were expecting. Lovely touches i.e. tea/coffee facilities and bottles of water. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Food was exceptional. Absolutely perfect in every way. We love this pub but it's the first time we've stayed here, but definitely not the last. Breakfast was off the scale. Service was fantastic!! We can't wait to return. Thank you for making our stay so special.
