When I think about it, cost could be considered high (it didn't include breakfast).

Comfortable beds, good sleep. Location (surprisingly) quiet - suppose some people may find 5 am work traffic noisy but remember these are people working or going to work. It didn't bother me. Likewise, a party downstairs in evening could be noisy to some - but they were customers in early evening and gone before it was late. Didn't bother me

There wasn't anything that i could fault about the place.

The location and convenience to amenities was excellent. The breakfasts were, also, very substantial & good. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Noisy. We were on ground floor, window was locked open. Heard all the passers-by, cars, all night. 2nd night asked for window to be shut.

Right in town, which is what we wanted to explore Worcester. Large room. Good shower.

The shower was cold in my room, I was advised you need to leave it running for 5-10 minutes before you get in because the same water tank serves all the rooms. I had to ask about this at reception after I had a cold shower.

The single room was a bit dated. There wasn't a desk or chair and nowhere to hang your clothes. I did mention this to the staff on departure. If I had been staying for more than one night, I would have requested a different room.

Great location and friendly staff. Excellent food in the restaurant.

Ye Olde Talbot is a good place to stay
    • Leisure trip
    • Solo traveller

Ye Olde Talbot is on a side street, which gets a bit of traffic and Friday night revellers, but neither stopped me from sleeping. I slept well the three nights I was there.

Ye Olde Talbot is a 10-minute walk to Worcester Foregate train station; it's within walking distance of numerous pubs and restaurants; the room was very nice; the bed was very comfortable; the shower was very good; the breakfast was tasty; the staff were friendly. I'd recommend Ye Olde Talbot. It's good value for money.

    Just the mattress

The location was great.. could do with a freshen up.. The bed was not comfy, the mattress had hollow dips in it, I had to turn it myself but not much different. A good quality mattress probably when new but needs changing.. gave me backache.

Very small issue but I have no problem with the reception being unmanned but there needs to be away of calling someone quickly. When the staff came they were very helpful.

The breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, clean and the staff were all excellent. Value for money.
