Perfect place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. Couldn’t hope for a nicer place to rest after a long run. Lovely village too. Nice touch with breakfast provided.

You can’t really see from the photos but the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, and the kitchen and sitting area are downstairs, which really works like a small apartment. Fresh milk and bread provided, alongside coffee for the cafetière, which just further confirmed this was a lovely place that represented great value for money: Clean, tidy, very well put together, and both the shower and wifi were excellent. All of this, added to the stunning views of the Cheviots, made this a great place to stay. A quick check-in by the hosts to make sure we were ok was both welcome and non-obtrusive. All in all - fabulous!

The internet connection was variable but to be honest that was probably because there was an event on locally and the village data was probably overused compared to normal days. It worked. It was just a little slow at times to deal with big files. Equally at other times totally fine to stream.

A stunning little spot. Compact, but has everything you need and it was incredibly cosy despite some really awful weather when we travelled! All nicely done to a high spec, an especially good word for the bathroom and a good, comfy night's sleep in good beds.

Would have been nice to have double bed, can see that the kitchen facilities may be an issue for some people, but it was fine for us.

Everything about this place was just magical. We stayed here for our anniversary and it was the first weekend away without the children since 2020. We didn’t see the hosts but knew they were there should we need anything. Getting into the cottage was easy. It was warm and cosy when we got in. We wanted privacy and peace and that’s what we had. The beds were super comfortable and the cottage had everything we wanted and more. Definitely will be back. Value for money too. The snow topped off the magical experience too.

I really loved this place! Checking in was simple and easy. It was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking on the street out front. The place itself was just absolutely darling. It was very comfortable and had everything you could need. There were plenty of breakfast items provided too. The wifi was strong and there was an extender right in the sitting room which was easy to reset if needed. The hosts were wonderful, very quick to respond, and were helpful with everything needed. I ended up extending my stay as I enjoyed it so much and I can't wait to return!

Loved this place. After walking the Pennine Way the accommodation was perfect. So welcoming and cozy. Lin was very friendly and approachable too.

The only thing is there is no space for a cooker / oven but there is a large microwave oven . We knew this and it wasn’t a problem .

I love the location in the centre of Yetholm village , so many beautiful walks all around . Perfect destination for exploring the Borders. The Bothy is small and beautiful and has everything you want .

I was given a code for a key safe, but as the owners are next door they had left the door unlocked for me. Bread, milk, eggs, fruit and breakfast cereal had been left for me. That was very welcome after a long walk.
