No parking in the property- nearest is 8-min walk (NCP). It was a struggle with luggage, stroller and kids + drizzle.

Just door code issues. And the rooms could be a little more decorated and cosy. They are very basic, but again, value for money and beds where OK for what you pay for, and is in the heart of Matthew Street. Bar should stay open later in my view they close a little early for those who are on their holidays there.

Staff where lovely and accommodating. Problem getting in after being out as code didn't work, but the manager was kind and apologetic and gave complimentary coffee. But, was very annoying as couldn't get in on first night and was cold. I had to go and then return later on when opened in early morning. Is noisy there, but to be expected as it is Matthew Street. Good value for money and the staff are really nice overall. Would be a great place for groups even on a few nights out in Liverpool as one night there is cheaper than a taxi home if you lived in the Wirral or other places in Liverpool. Will definitely stay again.

The dormdoors were extremely noisy. You woke up every time a dormmate returned, all through the nights. Some isolation would help!

The showers have always been a problem.. the grout is very dirty and it's so easy to keep it clean ( I have a cleaning Co and the amount of times the units are cleaned per week this shouldn't be a problem) mould on the shower ceiling too.. skirtings always dirty and window frames mouldy

People should able to block , for bottom bed if they had a surgery paper or handicape.it was really hard for me to climb up. And even if there is no kitchen please at least put two microvave some suitable place . 🙏🙏

The lift had broken.which we were notified the day before. But upon check in. We were told it still wasn't working and we were on the top floor. My daughter has a torn acl and really struggled with the steps, something she has been told to avoid through physio and a specialist. When we mentioned this to reception we werent given the option to swap rooms which wasn't ideal. Also our room didn't have a window just a sky light which didn't open and the room was very stuffy. We were all issues separate door codes. But it was pot luck which one would let us in to the building out of hours and into our room. None would let us into the building luckily someone was on reception and we had tried the codes before heading out for the evening and warned them non of them worked which we were told should do later on but they didn't. Breakfast that we paid for was very basic and everything had run out and hour before checkout so we ended up having to go else where for Breakfast and pay again

Lady on reception a little off with us as We didn't have a photo id ( but it was stated that photo id was required so My own fault really )Noisy but so close to Mathew Street to be expected . 2 single beds not a double but very comfy x

The young man on reception was fantastic at helping us out with changing My name on booking.com to match our booking and assist with understanding the system . Beds were comfy . Lockers ,charging facility and little bed light with shelf .

My room faced the narrow street where all the bars are, so all the night I heard loud music from those. In the showers there was not any bath gel or anything alike. One needs to provide the thing herself, which I find inconvenient.

I came quite late and there was no problem to receive my access to the room. It was good. Also, the duvey and pillow were done with only the bed sheet left for me to dress the mattress with. It was convenient

The bed was uncomfortable, and the breakfast was lacking in variety and quality. Improvement is needed in these areas for a better guest experience.
