The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel was in a quiet location but quite close to local shops and restaurants etc in Llanberis. The rooms were tidy and clean. The kitchen area was perfect for our needs. The views were great. Very close to some great hikes in the area including Snowdon.

Loved everything. The pod was cozy with under floor heating, outside bathroom was clean as only used by the guests in the pods, staff were really helpful and breakfast was delicious.

My one and only criticism is the lack of a mirror for shaving in my room.

I hadn't stated in a YHA hostel for over 30 years, so was somewhat apprehensive. However, the organisation has been modernised and the hostel experience is now less spartan and more relaxed and laid back. The manager, Mike and his team were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Location was superb and the hostel itself was comfortable and warm. Breakfast options were good, cooked breakfasts included vegetarian options. The continental buffet breakfast was very good for the price and non-dairy 'milk' was available, which was a pleasant surprise when even most hotels still have to catch up in this respect. Also a good choice of wine and beer, including local artesan beers were available on site. How the YHA has changed for the better since my youth!! All in all, a pleasant and enjoyable stay

Shower could of been a bit cleaner.

It suited our stay well friendly and affordable with cosy warm room. Shower and toilets maybe could have been slightly cleaner and a bit of repair but serviceable. Would stay again.

Very old decorated room. Also very thin walls (we could hear every thing in the room next to us) The price wasn't that cheap in comparing other YHA.

The perfume is too strong in the corridor.

The facility here is better maintained than the YHA in Bristol, at least no handle drops off this time.

Shame the doors are not on soft close as it can be a bit ‘Bang -y’when everyone comes in at night and takes a shower.

The bathroom shower button had some issues and we found it difficult to use. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

The pods were amazing, so comfy. Booking at a great price. Was so happy and had a peaceful sleep. The place was a little inside, but it was okay.

We had only booked for 7 people but ended up with 2 rooms that had 12 beds. Feel we could’ve been overcharged as we could have had just one room.

It was a bit hard to find place for our luggage in the pod cabin even though we travelled light. Most of the space was taken up by the mattresses and only one of them had a small shelf and some place at the end of it. It felt a bit like being in a tent. The place is up on the side of a hill, and the road is quite steep at certain parts, so prepare for walking uphill if you do not arrive by car.

We spent one night in a nice pod cabin in a beautiful environment. It is nice if you like to feel being close to the nature. The cabin was very clean and the staff was helpful at check in.
