The room is very clean and morden, good size. 15’ walk to the Old Town so the location is great.

Shower door did not shut so water leaked from under it and made floor wet so we had very wet towels trying to mop it up. No drink making facilities in room but free hot drinks machine and fresh cold water downstairs in lobby. Polite and helpful staff.

Comfortable reclining beds and good hot showers. Warm room - and was a cold week. Good sound proofing so had no noise from adjoining rooms. Plenty of storage space - hairdryer and ironing board and tv. Great location for centre of Edinburgh- all in walking distance (if you are active - Edinburgh is on a hill!)

No kettle in the room, but they offer free tea and coffee in the cafe near to the reception. Separated shower room, sink and toilet.

Clean and spacious family room. The kids love the bunk bed. Near to the city centre and most of the attractions and mini markets.

Didn’t like the toilets in the rooms. Very small and pokey. There was also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room either.

The location was perfect. It was out of the way yet so close to everything

Property would not take payment from my card twice before we stayed and threatened to cancel. We then had to rush to the hotel as they said they would cancel in 4 hours. Card worked first time when we arrived to the property so must have been their own issue.

Modern and spacious rooms. Nice feature being able to change angle of bed and light features.

The size of the room is deceiving in the pictures but was my own fault for not doing my due diligence. It is a micro hotel so quite small. The food in the bar is not good.

The location is close to everything and is therefore excellent.

No parking and it’s added another £90 for parking and it was a 15min walk. A lot of the car parks aren’t suited for bigger cars.

The staff were amazing went out that way to help. Room was very quiet at night even near the main road.

We didn’t get to use our credit for the skipping housekeeping as our plans were to use it to subsidise breakfast costs and then when we found out it was only for the bar we couldn’t use it as the bar only opens at 1300 and we had to check out earlier. Toilet was also quite small. All this being said, these are just tiny things that didn’t really have a negative effect on the trip.

Staff fulfilled a unique request for our booking to provide a funny cat picture. This alone made the trip amazing. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was pretty decent. The green incentive to skip housekeeping for credit is great.

lack of tea facilities. had to go down 6 floors to go to the bar area to make a cup of tea. Also the shower leaked so each time we had to leave the room we had to walk through it, Odd design with the room with the bathroom open plan at the entrance of the room. distance from the centre of Edinburgh is a good 20 mins walk. this was not overly clear from the booking page.

the bed was comfortable & there was a good shower. the bed reclined which was a nice feature but not particularly necessary. the kids found the bunk beds comfortable.

No drink facilities within the room wasn’t ideal. No lagers on at the bar unless they were bottled which wasn’t great either. Staff also didn’t inform us that after a 2/3 night stay and if you opted out of housekeeping, you got some credit to use on your stay

Nothing i can think of writing that I didn't like about the hotel.

Good location in the New town, 20 minute walk from the train station & the castle. Rooms and hotel were clean and the bed cosy. Decent shower and a good size TV in the room. The bar was nice serving a variety of alcoholic beverages and had Amstel on tap.
