Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe knew it was up hill to get to the hotel just not quite how steep it was. We walked it 4 times but not in the day time. It was out of the touristy area but we liked that.
The location was fantastic, the view from our room was amazing and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. So kind.

United KingdomThe location allowed the fantastic view. However, if you have poor mobility you would struggle with walking to and from grand anse due to the very steep hill, but a free shuttle is provided twice daily. Better parking facilities needed if you have a rental car and the uneven approaching road is in need of resurfacing. Fridges should be provided in each room rather than a shared fridge located in the corridor.
Really nice small hotel with fantastic view of grand anse beach, as located on a hill. Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was clean with balcony with sea view. We were celebrating our anniversary and was upgraded with a sea view room. Lovely quiet and tranquil setting. Delicious food. Caribbean themed continental breakfast would be preferred, ie local fruits and cocoa tea. Would definitely want to return for another stay.

The view 😍 and the pool was clean. The staff very friendly and helpful, room was lovely fresh sheets

Trinidad and TobagoI feel like the continental breakfast was a bit sparse...the first day there was yoghurt available but no more for the remainder of days I was there. Chia pudding isn't well-liked by many so maybe having yoghurt instead of chia pudding would be a great alternative.
The staff at Bay House are lovely people. They try their best to assist you with whatever your needs are. And quite friendly! My room had one of the best views I've had of the ocean in my travels thus far and it was very cosy. Fit me perfectly. The washroom was a bit narrow but there was enough space for one person. The room was well equipped with a mini fridge, smart TV and a microwave which was all I needed. WiFi was strong and worked perfectly anywhere in the hotel. The pools are lovely; there's a wading pool that feeds into the regular pool. The water was very nice.

Trinidad and TobagoNo tv in the room, the hill was too much of a walk, has mosquitoes in the room, sometimes the hot water gave some trouble. No iron in the room. It had a funny smell, not sure if it came from a cleaning product. Should have a taxi service to take guess to and from the hill to hotel at least every hour or on request. If u don’t like hills this is not the place for u
Pool and the view was really nice. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful.

LithuaniaIt’d be great if showers had things such as shower gel and shampoo. They just had a small soap bar. Also, if bedroom had a garbage bin. Location is as described, on a steep hill and roads are very uncomfortable. You need to take a taxi at least on the way back, and taxi in Grenada is not cheapest :)
Staff is very friendly, the views from terrace and room balcony are magnificent. Breakfast is as described and really suffice.

United KingdomWe loved everything, I'd only suggest more local fruits and juice options.
We LOVED this hotel and all the staff, we landed late afternoon in Grenada and were greeted by some of the most friendly and helpful staff. They helped us organize transport and even did a shuttle bus to and from the key locations. They also helped us order food online on days when we didn't want to eat at the hotel. Our room was clean, organized and very modern, the view is to DIE FOR, the most beautiful birds eye view of Gran Anse beach. The breakfast options and staff were so lovely, very fresh, freshly made and very accommodating. All the staff became like family/ friends to us, we all want to go back.

United KingdomMore locally sourced fresh fruits could be added to the Continental Breakfast menu.
The views at Bay House are stunning. Its location is high up but without the height you can’t get those amazing views. The property is very clean and modern with an equally clean and modern aesthetic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to make our stay very special. In summary we will be returning and will continue to recommend to family and friends.

United StatesThat I could not stay longer!
The property has been repurposed from a grand residence into a quaint boutique hotel, while maintaining the ambiance of Grenadian days past. The delight of the hotel is the caring, cheerful staff. From your welcome at checkin to meal service, you are greeted with warmth and professionalism! Breakfast is lovely with the food offerings truly a step up from the normal Grenadian hotel menus. My breakfast server was a gem!….and the view, the seating areas and pool are stunning.
