Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing. I loved everything.
Beautiful location. Nature lovers paradise. I enjoyed my stay here more than a luxury 5 star hotel. Ingrid, Sophia, Thomas and Chris are great hosts and a lovely warm family. Ingrid cooks using fruits, vegetables and herbs freshly picked from her abundant garden. The sound of the birds and nature was exhilarating. This trip truly replenished my soul, I arrived burnt out from London and left feeling light and happy with a prong in my step

United Stateseverything was great
We loved our stay! It’s a beautiful property and Ingrid has lovely gardens all throughout filled with flowers, spices, herbs, and fruits. Our room was very cozy and came with an amazing view. we had access to a shared kitchen so that we could cook or keep things fresh and got to meet some cool people that were also staying on the property as well as us. We normally search the streets for food, but based on other peoples reviews, we decided to try out Ingrid’s restaurant, and for sure we were not disappointed. We did it for three nights, and on the first night she made us a coconut rice with sweet-and-sour fish and some mixed vegetables, as well as callaloo soup. On the second night, we had an oil down which is a national dish and on the third night we had some Tuna, potatoes, and mix vegetables, along with a salad. I learned about and enjoyed at least four new ingredients through her cooking. If you’re able, talk to Ingrid and schedule a dinner. (lunch and breakfast available too)Ask her to show you her garden! Be prepared for smaller shops with limited items. Maybe do your shopping in St. George’s before coming up. Mount Caramel waterfall and the seven sisters waterfall were worthwhile experiences. There are some guides at the seven sisters waterfall which you don’t have to use but they are knowledgeable and it helps to have a local show you where and how you can go about hiking swimming or jumping into the river pools . *tip them* Hope beach was a gem that we learned about from one of the locals. It was private and had plenty of space and the water was nice and easy to walk out into. there is a local bar restaurant and resort right around the corner from Ingrids that you can go to, and order some fantastic drinks and enjoy the great view. Ask any local for directions and they’ll be happy to help you. Such friendly people everywhere we went. 10/10 experience. Many thanks to Mrs. Ingrid for such a wonderful stay!!

United StatesNot really a dislike for me, just some suggestions: This is a cabin setting. Stop & get some snacks/water on your way to the property. You are walking distance to a market, also. Bring your own towel/soap/essentials. If loud nature sounds bother you, bring ear plugs. (I quite like that myself) I went for nature, peace and solitude. If exciting night life is your preference, this may not be the spot for you for more than a couple nights. Bring a book and a sense of adventure!
I was thrilled to see the Atlantic side of Grenada. The property is remote and peaceful, not to mention absolutely beautiful. The plants, nature sounds, views are exceptional. I picked & ate tropical fruits daily. You can walk to a beach & hike nearby. It's easy to catch a bus to wherever you might want to go (I went solo to Grand Etang Nat'l Forest (7 Sisters Waterfalls) & Grenville via bus. Covid protocols are followed. It feels very safe. Do yourself a favor and have Ingrid make dinner for you-absolutely delicious meal of local delicacies. Ingrid and her family are lovely, helpful, knowledgeable. There are also adorable animals to greet you! I wish I could've stayed longer.

Trinidad and TobagoThe accommodations is perfect for nature lovers. The location is in a rural area of Grenada but there is a grocery and a gas station nearby. I like being able to sleep with my door and windows open, the strong fresh breezes revitalized me. There are also interesting trails to explore on your way to the beach that's a short distance away from the venue. The hostess cooked with herb, vegetables and fruits from the garden.

United KingdomThe rooms are extremely basic and although there is a mosquito net on the bed there are no nets at the windows which also did not close properly. There is no air conditioning only a free standing fan. The curtains are very thin so take an eye mask if you do not want to be woken by the sun rise. The water pressure was low and hot water elusive. The WiFi was not consistent. There is a swimming pool under construction so birdsong is not the only sounds you will hear until it is completed. There was no shared lounge "where guests can play CDs or watch DVDs" although one was detailed in the advertisement. Those with more limited mobility will find the surrounding roads difficult to negotiate. The local shop has limited supplies so shopping without a car is not easy. The “road” to the beach pictured above is also hard going and took us about 25 mins to walk. A general comment on all of Grenada: I would say 95% of roads have NO pavements and many have no lights and are in poor condition. This should be taken into consideration if contemplating hiring a car on the island.
The cabin is situated in a tropical garden which is a lovely setting where we saw our first humming birds. Ingrid and her family are very hospitable. The bed was comfortable. When it's completed the swimming pool will be a definite plus, in the meantime a couple of loungers around the garden would be nice. We had one hammock on our porch but not all rooms did and it is a shame not to have anywhere else to relax and enjoy the garden other than one not very comfortable swing chair at the entrance of the property. The beach is lovely and there is a hotel nearby where you can get drinks and a meal and the staff are very kind.

United StatesThe water pressure during my stay was almost nonexistent and communication wasn’t the best either as sometimes it would take hours to hear back
This location provides you with the very unique opportunity to experience the more remote side of Grenada. It’s about a 20 minute walk from Cabier beach which was very beautiful and secluded. If interested, they will also cook breakfast and dinner for you (for about $12 USD a meal) overall I enjoyed my stay here, I just wish it was a little easier to get here without having to rent a car

United StatesNeed a flashlight or phone light to get to room at night. Plants and rocks to skirt around.
The gardens around the rooms were exceptional!! They are now adding a restaurant and swimming pool. Pick a time for host to cook for you! You will pay for dinner but was very good. Host was a chef. Closest restaurant is about a 15-20 minute walk but very nice. Small supermarket same distance. The walk to beach area is about 15-20 minutes. No A/C but you don’t need one with the breeze except in August?? If you walk up to main road, about 10 minutes, grab bus #2 going north to Mt. Carmel Waterfall. You’re there and worth the trip for this beautiful waterfall. It costs $5EC for 2 people to cross private property. Go!
