‘Alone Cottage’ has been my favorite cottage for my Georgia trip. I really loved everything! There are living facilities like a real home and you will got a stunning views around you.

The host did not speak English, but we could communicate through Booking. The shower does not have a tray, so it was making everything wet in the bathroom, but it was OK as it dried out by the morning.

This accommodation is amazing, we could see Mt Kazbegi from our bed. Since it is located on the outskirts of the town it was incredibly peaceful. The place is equipped with everything that you might need.

Staying at the Alone Cottage in Kazbegi was a wonderful experience that can only be defined as a warm and welcoming home in the mountains you didn’t think you had. Giorgi, along with his wife, are fantastic hosts that helped us with anything we needed. Always responsive via whatsapp, and always ready to enrich your experience. The last night me and my partner spent there, Giorgi even helped us setting up a bbq! The location is equally suggestive, 5 minutes by car and 10 minute walk from the center of stepatsminda is unparalleled in the area. The sounds of the river just nearby is extremely soothing, and the sight on Mt. Kazbek is very evocative. Alone cottage offers both a very needed queit solitude, as well as being close to facilities and the comforts of civilization.

Only thing I could add would be access to the internet, but it’s just a small thing not affecting the rate.

House is a little further from Kazbegi center, but still walkable distance, so you can take a walk down to the town and back up. It’s worth every drop of sweat to sit on the terrace and be able to enjoy this view. Right next to you cows enjoying themselves, horses running freely. Absolutely fantastic experience. Inside it’s also very nice, the view from the bedroom unique. You can wake up, just lay and watch. Bedsheet is very comfortable and warm, so u won’t get cold at night. Very nice living room, well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. 10/10

Absolutely amazing location which I can recommend to everyone. Great view on the mountains, location distant from any other houses. Great place to walk also behind the cottage with another amazing view. Near to the river, quiet and very nice. Also inside of the house you can find all what is required for a short stay. Stay was great!

Bathroom shower head does not give comfortable stream of water

Location is simply stunning, you are high up the mountain overlooking Mt. Kazbeg. Nice balcony with comfortable chairs. Bed upstairs is firm and comfortable. Heater is available for colder days and nights. Despite booking very last minute the cottage was made ready in one hour. 4WD is necessary for access on steep dirt roads.

We are glad to have found "Alone."A dream come true stay with an amazing view of the snow capped Caucasus mountains, beauty at its peak at sunset and sunrise.Never to miss gazing the starry night. Getting to the property might be a little difficult without a 4×4.We did have one, so it was fine.

we love our stay! we had a really good time away escape from the city, the cottage has everything we need. The location is perfect, nobody is around and view is amazing. Our host is super friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back!

Everything. It's the perfect place to disconnect and reconnect with nature. The view was spectacular and the cottage felt homey. The host was really helpful and responsive. We had some dirty clothes that needed to be washed and the host was kind enough to wash them for us for free. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the town and 20 to 25 minutes to walk back up to the cottage. You can also use the Bolt app to book a taxi, which will cost 22 gel, probably because it is uphill. Although you will find a lot of drivers offering a ride, they probably cost more. We had to take a ride back to the cottage because we bought everything we needed during our whole stay, and we couldn't walk back to the cottage with groceries. It was an amazing stay and we will surely come back!

The whole stay of my Family at Alone Cottage was a dream. The location and the view is incomparable to any hotel or cottage in whole Kazbegi. We booked for one week and regretted it. We should have booked more! We love how we can explore the forest, we can watch the stars at night while doing a bon fire and lots of barbecues. Gorgi and his wife were very helpful and responsive to all our needs. Gorgi never failed to check on us with all our needs. It was the highlight of our entire holiday in Georgia and would love to come back again!
