The breakfast variety was almost negligible For vegetarians there wa a couple of fruits , cornflakes , BM carrots , bread butter and croissant so not filling at all They did not have help to carry the luggage to the room , thankfully my room was in the 1st floor but still a bother for older people The room had no cupboards !

If you have large luggage you have to carry it from the steps. Small balcony just to stand can’t sit as it’s very narrow.

The property on the whole was excellent but the restaurant prices were on the expensive side. They did have a laundry but no dryer which was problematic as we were unable to wash our clothes properly.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We had a good large bathroom with balcony that had spectacular views of the mountains. There was a large choice for breakfast. There was a great lounge to sit and relax in, also with spectacular views. Would highly recommend.

The style of the bedrooms imitates the nearby Rooms hotel, with silly design features like bare walls and a total disregard for practicalities like storage, wardrobes etc.

The hotel has a good location with splendid views of Mt. Kazbek. This applies only to the rooms on the valley side of the building. It is quiet at night, and good value for money for Kazbegi standards. Breakfast is more than satisfactory.

Nothing specific, everything went well

The staff was a welcome change from the general rude behavior I observed in whole of Georgia. I would go back to Georgia just because of this property. Kudos to the lady at the reception for checking me in quick and the gentleman at the bar who was a pleasure to talk to, and accommodated my requests for food. The place is very cozy, and the view from the mountain view rooms were gorgeous. I would totally recommend this place to anyone - solo or family.

The hotel door room is simple wood and all the noises from outside comes in also the light from the corridor.

I had a good taste of Georgia thanks to the staff at Kazbek. Everyone was so nice and helpful, I really enjoyed my stay.

The man behind the bar. He objected to the table I sat in for breakfast although the whole contain had only one other occupied table! He was not friendly at all.

I was expecting a bigger balcony with a relaxing seating to enjoy the views but the balcony is rather small and the chair provided in the balcony is not suitable to sit long. bathroom could have been more roomy. Bathroom could have been more roomier, being a XXL person I felt a bit cramped. Only few staff knows English and may be that's why they are kind of shy or not bothered to have a conversation with you so you fee a bit odd at times. No grocery shop close by to get extra water/cigarettes/bread/other things you may need. If you are a person who like complete silence while sleeping then you will need to bring ear plugs as the area is surrounded by dogs, cows and roosters and there was a concert of these three going on at night and early morning and we had all the windows open but we still could sleep since coming from all midnight false alarms, turbo racing and honking.

Located in Kazbeki, Georigia, overlooking the Kazbeki Mountain Peaks and Gergeti Trinity church Alpine Lounge is definitely the place to spend few days if you need to enjoy the mountain and valley views. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles at the reception, check in was in minutes and all we had to do was show our passports, pay and then sign a form. The main lobby is on the first floor and we had our room on the 2nd floor with mountain views, of course. They help us with our luggage up to the room. The room was so clean and had a very warm and welcoming feel to it. Spacious enough for 2 persons with a nice comfortable bed and an OK bathroom, very clean and dries fast after a bath. Hot water is available 24/7. The view from the balcony is why I booked this property and it delivers just that, breathtaking views. We visited about end of August and it was lik 23 degrees during day and 13 degrees at night or my be less. But we just kept the window open at all time and the fresh alpine air just blew in. There is a restaurant/bar/lounge near to the lobby/reception which has a superb outdoor deck and viewing area. It was so nice to sit there and enjoy the morning breakfast and sip on a cold glass of Kindzmarauli in the evenings enjoying the sunset and the mountains. The hotel even arranged us taxi to come back from Kazbeki town which is like a 2 km hike up (not my cup of tea). Other staff at the hotel are all helpful. There is a wine/tasting shop just in the parking lot of this hotel. Breakfast buffet was satisfying. It was worth sending 2 nights at Alpine Lounge.
