Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesLocation is bit far from ski lifts and main market, thus you always have to take a cab - although cab is provided by the hotel on a cheaper rate. Heating in the room wasn't proper, which caused an uncomfortable stay Breakfast is average. Overall in gadauri indian food is a challenge and quality is not value for money. In Gadauri you pay for ski, snow and views, but food isn't great.
Amazing view from the room Great staff, especially the manager of the hotel. She was always available for anything. Small cozy hotel with a fine dine restaurant Overall a value for money stay.

IsraelThe dinner menu was good, but did not change the whole week.
The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are accommodating and kind. The hotel suggests transportation to the ski rental shop or ski lift. Very recommended!

KenyaWe struggled with the noise from the road - the main miliary road passes through the town and the hotel (like all others) was right by this road. This meant we had traffic noise through most of the evening - you defintely need to sleep with earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
These rooms are so cool - intentionally decorated and beautiful as an oasis from the snow. Not your typical hotel accommodation in the mountains! Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were so helpful and friendly.

United Arab EmiratesNothing, only if there is a slight bigger sign for your hotel or a hotel name with light will help finding your hotel easier.
We loved everything at this hotel. Welcome drink - Cha Cha :-) at the reception and at the restaurant. Nice and clean bedroom and hot tub room. Live music at the restaurant made our Valentine's day dinner become so romantic (although we did not plan it). Food at the restaurant was great. Staffs go above and beyond to keep us happy and all are so friendly.

IsraelThe distance by foot to the ski lifts is long and in general the hotel resides further away from the center. But with that being said, the hotel did provide a driver to take us to the lifts and back every day. So this is something to consider but definitely not something you should be worried about.
The attentive staff took care of everything perfectly. You can trust that you will be taken care of by the sweetest people. We really enjoyed the great breakfasts and dinners and the private spa. Definitely recommending :)

United Arab EmiratesLocation requires a ride to the ski lift. Walls and windows not sound proof to noise from the restaurant downstairs and the road outside.
Slava the administrator is an amazing guy who gives great care to guests. The hotel is brand new and nicely designed. The spa is very nice although needs to be booked in advanced and for a fee

United Arab EmiratesYou can’t walk to the slopes and it’s not ski in/ski out. But we had a free lift in and back each day so we were very happy with the location.
Our room was beautiful. A cool mezzanine with a nice view. We went in February to ski but it would be beautiful on the deck in the summer. Restaurant is lovely, and the food is very good. It’s fine dining (if you don’t want that you can find plenty of apres ski food places nearby).

AustraliaSpa water could have been hotter and sauna should have been preheated for first guests of the day. Also trucks going up and down the road in front of the hotel was annoying, especially if you needed to open the window to let cool air in to regulate room temperature.
Great service from the hosts. Excellent restaurant. The staff at the restaurant really knew the menu and the food! Hotel made our honeymoon feel special.

Very clean and cozy hotel. Attentive, helpful and accommodating staff. Hotel is beautifully decorated, live piano music in the evening is amazing. Everything and everyone in hotel make you feel welcome. Breakfast had caviar and champagne, you can request any kind of eggs ( Benedict one was delicious), something new was at the breakfast every day, pastry, cheesecakes were yummy. Shower was clean, good water pressure and powerful hairdryer ( yes, it is important for ladies with long hair :) Private spa is something that I have never seen before. Honestly, one of the best hotel we have ever stayed.

United Arab EmiratesExceptional Service started with Slava, which gave us warm welcoming drinks and provided 1 hour private jacuzzi and Sauna session. Then, the super welcoming and helpful Mariana, which is giving us 24 hours of caring and being generous with everything The Restaurant Manager and Jiji and Olga were more than perfect in Service and keep gifting us drinks and deserts. Honestly, I never had such a beautiful service in a hotel before .. those kind people should teach the hotel industry in the world how to provide a service 🌹

FranceThe only thing that bothered us during our stay was how loud the live music at the restaurant was, we would have enjoyed it a lot more if it had been quieter so that we didn't have to shout to each other and to the waiter to be understood. Aside from that, everything was fine and we really hope to stay again soon, however there could be room for improvement on a few things: First of all, the breakfast, which itself is delicious, is organised in a way that food and drink items become unavailable as guests consume them, and they are not always replenished, which means you have to ask the breakfast waitress to bring you more of it if you would like. The concept itself is fair enough as it probably reduces food waste, however in that case, it should be better explained to the guest (maybe with a menu), so that they know that they can order a variety of things, not just what is on display on the buffet. A second point would be the spa facilities, and in particular the jacuzzi. Despite being spacious and well-decorated, we sometimes found that the water was not the cleanest and that there was what seemed like small patches of dead skin on the edges, which shows the water is not cleaned everyday. After having seen that, we didn't really use the jacuzzi anymore although is was very comfy, and that is a pity. Lastly, the deluxe double studio in which we stayed has remotely controlled black-out curtains for the upper windows which is just great, however they are not installed on the lower window. It wasn't much of an inconvenience for us, however if you need that extra privacy or if you are easily awaken by light in the morning, it could be an issue for you.
The staff is very kind and professional, always ready to help in case of issues, and they will go the extra step to make you feel comfortable during your stay. The attention they provide is personalised to the client and that makes the experience unforgettable, hats off to them! The hotel itself is very cozy, mixing modern and ancient styles, and it is very clean. The breakfast was the best we've had in Georgia, the croissants are especially worth trying. The breakfast area turns into a restaurant in evening and, trust me, it will not disappoint either. The spa facilities comprise a sauna and a jacuzzi with lukewarm/warm water and it is privatised for you for one hour (need to arrange in advance). As for the studio in which we stayed, it offers breathtaking views of the Kazbegi mountains, is filled with all the required amenities and it has good soundproofing as well. The ceiling upstairs is actually quite high (about 185cm) so no issue to stand for most of us 😄

IndiaAreas for Improvement - Less options for vegetarians on the menu, maybe they can add Italian and Chinese Cuisines / some dishes. Some more vegetarian options during breakfast would also be appreciated. Some of the male staff (we would prefer not to mention names) needed some more training. A safe in the room is essential for travelers to put their valuables in. we hope they add it as well. Overall a great place and well run and managed by the family with very nice staff.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the very kind and courteous Marianna who is indeed an asset to the hotel. Recently built the hotel is located 5-10 mins from the Shino lift and they offer free transfers which is great for tourists. Well appointed rooms and comfortable. During breakfast we were greeted and assisted by the very kind Kapa who is a delight. We also really enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna located in the premises. Def a must visit and we shall hopefully return soon as well. Lastly the hotel driver responsible for transfers is also very nice and helpful.

United KingdomAll of the staff were amazing, Slava especially is so so helpful and makes you feel so welcome and is always on hand to try and make your stay better. The hotel itself is so lovely and we loved the quirky decor and style, it’s super clean and well maintained. Only a short drive (2 minutes) to the Shino ski lift and not far from New Gudauri where there are shops etc. the Ati Ambavi restaurant is rated the best in Gudauri and is exceptional, you don’t even need to go eat elsewhere! We will definitely be back next year!
