It doesn't seem that the sliding door going to the balcony can be completely shut from the outside without locking myself out.

I really enjoyed my 5-night stay.....Just the right size room for one person.....Heating was perfect - never had to adjust it.....Roomy shower with plenty of hot water.....Nice view of the city skyline.....Quiet and away from road and construction noise.....Reception and staff were very attentive.....Room service if you want it. But if not then just put out the Do Not Disturb sign.....Usually during a 5 night stay something at a hotel turns out to be a problem but not at the Black Sea Star Hotel.

just a suggestion that rooms could have the carpet changed for greater feeling of cleanliness! Otherwise, all great!

Rooftop terrace, balcony view, amazingly helpful staff. Really great that one could pay by card and everything is done accordingly. I guess it must be lovely to have breakfast there!

Unfortunately, I came across unsuitable accommodation on the given day. So I quickly booked this hotel and it was the best choice :-) Nice hotel in the city center with a pleasant receptionist. Upon arrival I was told that there was an error and I was upgraded to a deluxe room for free :-) Very nice room, well furnished, ideal for relaxing. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back.

We just had the best time at our favorite hotel in Batumi! The staff was incredibly friendly as always and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to return! P.s. having breakfast on the top floor is priceless 😉

I wish you fix the plumbing system and the hotel would be totally one of the best in the area.

Acquaintance with a country and a city usually starts with a hotel and it’s personnel. Here everything was great. They even refund some amount of money for the nights that I’ve booked, but didn’t stay. I’m very grateful to the people who own and work there. Thank you.

I really enjoyed it. The room was nice and cozy: I got a nice balcony where I sipped my morning coffee. Also, I slept like a baby. The staff was super polite. 1) The walls are relatively thin, so noisy neighbors can be a nuisance. 2) There is no lift in the hotel - I did not mind personally but for those with a heavier luggage, this can be a problem. 3) Not everyone at the reception speaks English (again, I did not have any serious problem).

Black Sea Star Batumi hotel is a relatively small, cosy hotel close to everything in Batumi. The hotel has four floors, with up to 6 rooms on a floor. The rooms are spacious, clean and decorated with taste. They have a fridge, a safe and tea/coffee making facilities. Wifi works well. There is a nice view from the rooms and from the terrace at the 4th floor. I am not sure whether the hotel offers breakfast - I was told it did not but it is advertised here on booking, so maybe there was some misunderstanding (and with the possibility of making coffee in the room, I did not really care very much). The area is nice and safe. All the major places, and museums, in Batumi can be easily reached by walking within 10-20 minutes. There are also a lot of buses and marshrutkas stopping nearby. And there are plenty of shops, including a big Carrefour, and restaurants around. And right opposite the hotel, you find the Georgian Bank (to withdraw money and to buy the Batumi card for the public transport). All in all, I liked the hotel and I would not hesitate to stay there again if back to Batumi.

A leak from the base in the shower (simply blocked/soaked up with towels).

Location, helpful owner/manager, great option of buying a Georgian SIM card at reception and he sets it up for you (very helpful), spacious comfortable room with a very comfortable bed.

room was perfect with nice bad and armchairs in it. and bathroom nice. having tooth brush and enough amount of soap in the bathroom which can not be found in much hotel room. finally the minibar is perfect with the items in it and the pricing.
