Amazing and unique experience at Duende Hotels ❤️ Absolutely loved our stay, amazing place, the vibe, food, concept, philosophy, attitude, attention to detail, I will definitely come back. It is my secret place to relax and get away from fast and stressful pace of life. An absolute must-visit for those who want to feel united with nature and find your true self. "Avatar" like forest, peaceful and loving energy from the lovely host Nikol and her family. Truly a soul-healing place ✨✨✨

There is something special about this place. A magical florest retreat, where you can wake up and go straight for a river jump in just 2 minutes walk. The rooms are lovely. The highlight of the place for us was the hot bath with barbecue night in our terrace. We loved the stay and look forward on going back one day.

AMAZING Expirience Nature. The cozy cottages and warm baths are just what the doctor ordered. But, the heart and soul of this place are the wonderful hosts, Nicole and Alejandro. They are such genuine and delightful people, and their stories are the kind you want to treasure. Their hospitality was unmatched! The food is a story on its own - absolutely divine. Nicole and Alejandro's mastery in the kitchen brought Georgian flavors to life, and I was in food heaven! The cute surprises, like icy strawberry chacha and edible garden flowers, added that extra touch of thoughtfulness. What's more, there's a treasure trove of activities around. You can plan your days with adventures or simply bask in nature's beauty. In short, Hotel Duende is an enchanting retreat. I feel incredibly fortunate to have experienced its charm and can't wait for my next visit. If you’re after a sublime escape, don’t hesitate! Trust me on this one.

If you need a magical and peaceful experience in the wild forest, where the only voice comes from the mountain river and birds singing, this place is for you. Georgian small Amazon forest where Alejandro and Nicole provide excellent hosting. They have thought about everything, your comfort, extraordinary food experience, and an esthetic environment. The only thing you need to do is to relax.

it’s not a minus but you have to take into account that the nearest shop is quite far away and you need a vehicle to go there

magnificent place for rest! best atmosphere to relax and recharge. everything is thought out to the smallest detail, we felt absolutely calm. hosts are super friendly and kind, they helped us with everything and answered all our questions. house is small, but well organized and equipped, so we didn’t need more space, also we spent most of the time outdoor. food is just perfect, so delicious and varied, want to eat this everyday :) we really liked how this place is integrated into the local nature and supports local community, it’s inspiring!

Location ! Away from noise pollution, all you can hear is the sound of birds and river. Air is so clean and refreshing. Lovely locally curated meals. Hotel owners make you feel at home.

We had a magical experience at Duende! It's a paradise with delicious food of Spanish-Georgian tastes made of natural products, amazing nature, and a stylish interior. And a hot tub with a fireplace nearby just sends you to heaven. But the most precious thing about Duende is its hosts. It was a pleasure to talk to Nicole, Alejandro, and their children. These guys have unique life experiences, believe me. Nicole, thank you very much for sharing your wisdom and life stories. The place is 100% worth visiting. The treehouse though small is fully equipped. the bonfire and the outdoor Jacuzzi are very unique and the experience overall was amazing. The meals were very simple yet very tasty.

The bed was a little uncomfortable because it was a sofa bed. But nothing a simple mattress topper couldn't solve!

An incredible experience overall. The forest is stunning, the food, wine and hospitality was impeccable and we loved that they support locals in the area. The jacuzzi and campfire is the cherry on top - a very special experience being in the forest. Great for short walks and hikes to explore the surrounding village and river as well.

The bed situation can be a little uncomfortable, as you're choosing between a loft bed (comfortable, but cramped) or a fold-out bed (plenty of room, but feels like a fold-out bed). Perhaps having access to a mattress pad to soften the fold-out option would be a good idea.

We adored our stay at Duende. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable, the food served at all meals was delicious, the mid-afternoon snack was delightful, and we loved being able to soak in our private hot tub or sit by the fire. It was delightful.
