When I arrived from the first hike, only the kids were there. They were very friendly. Later in the evening we had a nice dinner and the guests had a very nice time.

Very friendly family. Extremely clean house. Wonderful food. My private room was very clean and equipped with very warm blankets. The bathroom was spotless and lots of hot water. Good wifi. Dinner and breakfast were full of different dishes, lots of veggies. The complimentary bottle of chacha at dinner was a nice touch. HAMMOCKS!! Best price I payed on the hike as well. Stay here.

Nothing! Only it should be noted that the price per person including dinner, breakfast and room was 60€. So the booking price and whether you are sharing a room with a partner/friend doesn’t really matter. Totally worth it though and absolutely still good value for stay.

Wonderful stay with Fafo and her family. She is an amazing cook! A true family home, very comfortable atmosphere.

It is like al the guesthouses on the track basic rooms and you will have to use the one shower. I was the only visitor at the time so for me itvwas okay.

Nothing not to like!

Fafo's Guesthouse is a fantastic, quiet, and clean place to stay. Fafo is so welcoming and made us an amazing dinner and breakfast, more than we could possibly eat. She also went above and beyond to arrange returning an item left behind once we were back in Mestia. You definitely won't regret staying here!

Booked a room with private bathroom as indicated on booking.com. However, this guesthouse has only rooms with shared bathroom. So we ended up having tot share 1 toilet and 1 shower with guests of all 4 guest rooms + the owner and his family of 5 ! You basically stay in the house of the family and even have to pass thru the kitchen to use the toilet or the shower. We did not feel comfortable with this situation but because the reservation could not be cancelled any more, we had to accept the situation. The lady of the house starts working in the kitchen from very early in the morning till after midnight, so there is also the noise of pots and pans and dish washing up into the room.

Very nice family. Beautifull countryside view, plenty of good food. Meals ready on arranged time.

host barely spoke either russian or english but we made all arrangements with her friend when we arrived so it wasn't really a problem.

The host was very nice and worked really hard to make our stay enjoyable. One of the best dinners and breakfasts we had in Georgia, we were also offered tea and cake when we arrived and in the evening. The room was really comfortable, bathroom shared and very clean. Paid 60 GEL/person with meals. Would definitely suggest to everyone trekking from Mestia to Ushguli.
