How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I would add water bottles that were missing in the room.
Good location, close to the city center though you will need to walk, there are lots of restaurants nearby. The beach is within a walking distance. The hotel is located in a nice building, family-owned. Our room had a nice balcony with a Mountain View. It was clean, the towels were changed every day. The breakfast was good, enough for a breakfast. The staff was friendly and eager to help. We had an early check-in and there was no problem at all.

They should have more hanging dryers or hooks for towels etc and sockets in the room.
It’s a small hotel run by a very hospitable family. They serve a tasty breakfast flavoured with a nice small talk and warm smiles. The host was really helpful and gave us a lot of useful advice on different matters.

You have to remind them to change the linens
The place is lovely. You feel relaxed because of the attitude, well organised facilities, view from the room. Air conditioning without noise. Breakfast is sufficient enough. In general, it is durable to stay.

Only 1 person spoke English, no possibility to order taxi to print boarding card, to order breakfast box, far away to center and to the beach

A good hotel to explore Batumi, a bit far from the beach but good for exploring other parts of the city and for overnight stay.

Breakfast timing, not only for this hotel for all the hotels breakfast starts by 9.00 am. and it is a waste of time as a tourist we cannot start exploring earlier.
Room was good to stay with family and the owner Mr.Gocha and his family were very friendly and they gave us a homely atmosphere. Breakfast was local one with home made dishes, which was tasteful. Room and surroundings were clean.

Location is not in the centre a bit far and breakfast is so so.

Everything was great. Room was clean and comfortable with all things needed. Host was very helpful and friendly. He helped us with a lot of things. Breakfast was wonderfull, one of the best we had in Georgia. Place where you want to come back. We highly recommend this place. :)

I can't rate. The breakfast was genius level 2 included, but there was no option for a package or an earlier breakfast due to the long journey.

All was great! That was our first time in Batumi and we even didn’t expect such a great vacation! First of all special thanks to the owner of the hotel: he let us check in earlier (our plane landed at 5 am), met us from the airport and supported with all needed information. The location is perfect! There are a lot of shops and different supermarkets near the hotel. The sea is also close enough: about 10 minutes on foot. The room was clean and breakfasts were tasty. So if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Batumi then Four Seasons would be the right choice.

If you like having a morning coffee and breakfast under grapevine together with most friendly husky in a world this is the right place. Peaceful and quite, but still close enough to walk the Batumi boulevard and get to the beach in less than ten minutes, this place was our small relaxing paradise. The room was perfectly clean, with two small terraces looking on the mountains where we spent quite curfew evenings. The owner and his family were really friendly and helpful, not to mention fantastic white wine which they are producing. Altogether, for us this was the perfect base to stumble around Batumi and still have great relaxing moments

It is not a hotel from Four Seasons network. Very simple. Hotel is 20 minutes walk from the sea.
