As ever the narrow spiral stairs that are a feature of Georgian houses made going up and down a treat ;) but really. if thats my only criticism.. then really.. :) Great spot!

Staggered in, to a lovely welcome and beer! very clean and modern, with rows of rooms and pleasant balcony. Stunning area and loads of lovely food.. Helped keep me going through teh day! The lady was lovely and her husband helped get us back to Mestia, when one of our party took ill.

The was a superb experience: the hosts were lovely, the view was amazing, the house overall is really taken care of and The Food - it was to die for! Very important note: the shared bathrooms were really clean, in good shape and had large variety of amenities. We paid 50 GEL per person for dinner and breakfast and it is 110% worth every tetri. The hosts were able to accommodate the time of the meal. This was the best guesthouse we stayed at on our Mestia to Ushguli trail

Everything from head to toe was just magnificent. Eliko, the host, is an incredible woman which helped us with everything we needed and then some more. The food is delicious and in abundance, the ambient is fantastic and I would love to come back here some day.

Nothing, as I said, everything was great.

Everything about my stay here was excellent. I would rank it as the best guesthouse during my stay in Georgia so far. First, it was very clean and comfortable. Second, the food was fantastic, and the portions were very generous. Third, the views from the balcony were stunning. Last but not least, the host was kind and provided amazing service. All in all, this place is great, and it provides tremendous value for money.

The shower head was broken when we were there so you had to hold it but this was our only gripe.

After a long 1st day hike on the Mestia - Ushguli trek we were very happy to arrive at Gogia, the property is very modern with amazing views from the balcony. The beds were comfortable and most of all the best thing about this place was the amazing food and the quantity of it, all home made and fresh. We were also provided lunch bags to pack up left overs from the huge breakfast for the hike. Not much English is spoken however we met the owners nephew who spoke English and told us all about the history of the area and the buildings :)

There was nothing not to like.

Guest House Gogia was our favorite of the places we stayed on our hike from Mestia to Ushguli. The owners are super friendly, warm-hearted and genuine people who really care about their guests, and this was evident throughout our experience there. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, a washing machine, line and pegs were provided, there were lovely chill-out spaces (a garden patio with a swing and seating, seats on the upstairs balcony), and tea and coffee were available at any time. Dinner was delicious and so plentiful that we saved the leftovers for breakfast the next morning.

There is a single bathroom for the whole floor.

We checked-in quite late after a full-day hiking, giving short notice for dinner. Nonetheless, that was the best dinner we had in our full two weeks in the country. Breakfast was up to the same standard. Rooms are large, clean and comfort and the whole place is kept very tidy and nice. Thanks and see you next year!

Was a super nice guesthouse, the best one in the village! We could stay and drink beer at the patio after a long day of hiking! The rooms were very clean and big. Also, the bathrooms were extremely nice and I do not think I have ever been in a nicer shower, super deluxe. Moreover, they served us a lot of food which was all really tasty. This is the best guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in so I really recommend it to others 😊.
