Lovely guesthouse in the suburbs of Kutaisi with a nice terrace. The rooms and the house are nicely decorated and cleaner than clean. The corner room has a lot of natural light and is perfect for solo travellers. Hosts Ana and her daughter Kate are super friendly and helpful. Kate speaks excellent English. Breakfast varies every day and is plentiful. It’s only a short 15 minute walk into town. Several supermarkets are close by. The home made wine I got offered was excellent! I would definitely come again.

The bathroom gets cold, even with a heater inside.

We stayed at Gold Guesthouse on the last day of our trip to Georgia. Our hosts were extremely kind. They maintain the apartment very well. Its great to stay with a family and see their home with its quaint furnishings. Breakfast is home-cooked and authentic. Our hosts even gave us a drop to the city centre.

Everything was perfect

A beautiful house, not far from the city centre. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners are unbelievably kind and helpful, giving us all the information about the city and local restaurants. A very tasty georgian breakfast was prepared every morning - sorry that you have to wake up early every day because of us :-) Our kids also enjoyed very much playing with dog, piano..!

We had an incredible stay at accommodation in Kutaisi! The hosts were truly amazing, making us feel at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms were not only beautiful but also stylish, adding to the overall charm of the place. We were treated to a delicious breakfast that featured local Georgian flavors. The location was perfect for unwinding and immersing myself in the local atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Kutaisi!

So happy we found this place! Such a nice family. Super clean room. The daughter Kate speaks excellent English and she gave us good recommendations. The house is located close to the center, yet in a quiet residential area, so that was perfect for us (no traffic noise). They have a very nice living room with a piano. They let us park our rental car in their inner yard. I can only recommend this place :)

I could not find any cons.

It’s definitely the best stay experience in our whole Georgia trip. The hospitality is just out if this world from the first to the last second. Delicious breakfast. The whole house is super clean with the great, comfy atmosphere. The location is quiet and close to the centre. Hosts speaks perfect english, so there is no issues with communication. I would definitely love to stay here again and recommend everyone to do so. Thank you Kate and your family for such a good vibes and experience.

Nothing to Dislike

Very Highly Recommended for Families and Couples Our host Kate Gem of a Person; very much friendly, very polite, very helpful and understanding, so too was her family, affable and welcoming and loving people! Our room was Spotless Clean, Well Arranged and came with an efficient and working Air Conditioning unit and a TV with internet. Wifi was provided and was fast too. The room is Very Spacious, with a private balcony and a spotlessly clean, odor-free, well ventilated and lit bathroom. Hot and Cold water on tap. The Toilet was Super Clean and the tiles were non-slippery and clean too! The room had tables and a wardrobe and it opened into a adjacent hall, well appointed and neat and with a Grand Piano too! Breakfast was served in clean plates in a nice ambience. Food was indeed of some variety including Georgian delicacies and was tasty and very much sufficient and had a homely touch to it. Provision for making tea and coffee were there and we made use of it. So was with Laundry too, twice we did washing clothes, and Kate was thoughtful enough to make sure that they were dry and and she folded them well for us to use. The property has an outdoor Gazebo with a fire place and nice seating, good for sharing some wonderful moments with their great tasting homemade wine and food! The place is easily accessible by Car, very Safe and Quiet and all necessary facilities including markets and restaurants serving local, continental and Indian food (White Elephant) are very nearby. Excellent location to stay and visit Kutaisi's local attractions, the Prometheus Cave, Gelati Monastery, Martvili and Okaste Canyons, Sairme, Nikortsminda Cathedral, Scenic Racha Moutaintop trek and visit to the beautiful 9 Cross small church at the tip of it!

Everything was more than expected. Breakfasts were delicious including Georgian specials. Hosts are very supportive and kind, they also know drivers who can take you on a trip. You can communicate in English there.

Everything was great, wish it would be like this everywhere else in Georgia!

It is such a wondeful place where we happily spent a few nights and felt really like at home! In particular, we very much appreciated the quality of the room, the superb shared living room in the 50's style and on top, the so warm and dedicated welcome of the hosts. Note also that they kindly accepted to keep our bikes and luggages safely while we were travelling in Georgia by train for a couple of days.

We would love to have a kettle and two cups in the room :-) but this is in no way a complaint!

In this guest house, you don't only enjoy the room you're staying in. The family have created some lovely places in the living room and outdoor seating areas which are so pleasant to hang out in. We really value that they did not convert the giant living room into more bedrooms as it gives guests an extra space to enjoy. The bedroom had a corner window and balcony, giving a lot of light and freshness. Everything was comfortable. They live in a nice neighbourhood and the 15 min walk into the centre is enjoyable. The host family is so friendly and incredibly hospitable. They have many suggestions for places their guests can see during their time in Kutaisi.
