We stayed at Hilltop for 4 nights. Gvanza from the reception welcomed us and kindly accommodated our requests. We had an amazing view of Kazbegi from our room, which was very spacious with lounge area and dining table. Heating was working perfectly for chiller nights. The hotel has a nice common living rooms and terrace downstairs with dishware and cutlery, perfectly equipped for having a relaxed afternoon with your own drinks and food.

The location: The location was great just a short 5/10 minute walk to the center of town. Pictures didn’t do justice to the view of Kazbegi once you get to the room. We also had a nice terrace to admire the snow capped mountains. You have a very nice courtyard in the front that is well lit at night if you want to spend some time outside having a glass of wine. Food: Breakfast was great and the cost was very reasonable. The host made fresh scrambled eggs and had an assortment of fruit, cheese, meats, veggies, juices and freshly made Kachkapuri. They have complimentary tea and coffee and a comfortable lounge downstairs with Kazbegi just above your book. The Room: The room was basic but the bed was comfortable, everything was clean and looked new. For the price, excellent value. There was no TV but that is not why you go to Stefantsminda go out and explore all the wonderful hikes a short drive away. The Hosts: They were extremely friendly hosts. The night before leaving to head back to Tiblisi we had an issue with our taxi and needed to find another driver. They spent 20 minutes at 11:00 pm at night trying to find us a taxi for the next day and they found a great driver at a very fair price. I strongly recommend this place and will definitely go back if we are in Stepantsminda in the future.

All was great. No negative points to add

The hotel is new and very cozy! Very warm welcome, clean. Good location exactly beside the mountain, so you will have amazing nature view and fresh air. Room was comfortable, heating is working more than enough, clean and relaxing. Especially want to thank Irina - hostess, hotel owner, cook. She was very friendly and kindly, was waiting us till midnight (unfortunatly we were late due to weather conditions and carefully driving at evening time). Breakfast was 5 of 5, fresh, wide choice, more than enough portions, just cooked by Irina. Outside terrace is still in construction progress, I believe it will be amazing summer terrace here, take note :) Happy to recommend this hotel. Will come back again there!

Breakfast was amazing, the location is perfect and such great value for the area. The hotel was very peaceful and all the rooms had spectacular views of the mountain. The staff were wonderful and we felt so rested after our stay.
