Hotel History is located about a kilometer outside of central Kutaisi and within easy walking distance of Bagrati Cathedral. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the WiFi is good and there is onsite parking. Overall, great value for the price.

We spent 2 nights in August in this family-run hotel. The hotel provided us with a transfer. The owner of the hotel met us at the train station. Kutaisi was one of the stops on our Georgian vacation. Our room had a nice little terrace. Hotel History is situated on a mount in a quiet neighborhood. Bagrati Cathedral is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. This was the main reason why we chose this hotel. Our room did not have a window, only a terrace door. So there was not much daylight coming inside the room but it did not bother us. Our room was on the top floor and there was no elevator, so people who have health problems bare that in mind. The breakfast was served on the 1st floor. The owner met and greeted everybody. So that was a great touch. I would recommend this hotel for people who want to be away from the city center. But keep in mind you are on a mount so you have to walk up/down the mount at least once.

Not much restaurant options around the hotel, and is about 15-20 min walk to the city centre. Bolt is a good option to get around.

The room is spacious for 2 people, and the staff is very helpful and provide information on restaurant and supermarket around the area.

Very pleasant atmosphere, great hospitality, very good breakfast. The location is near the Bagrati cathedral and there is a private parking space. We have reserved initially one night and gladly extended our stay for an additional day.

Very kind host. At night, before the flight, a small breakfast was prepared. It is possible to buy local honey, wine, chacha. Fantastic view of the city from the third floor room. Great location.

- More like a guesthouse than a hotel just as most places in Georgia. - As the house is old and has wodden floors you can hear to much from the other guest. - Missing simple thing like proper curtains for all the window, only covering like 70% of it..! Not quite as good place as described and owner speaks very little English. Would give it a medium rate, but must say the same for most places in Kutaisi. Good value though for like 3-4 guests travelling together as rooms are spacius. Hakon Thor, Travel Writer

It is a family run small hotel. Lady host is very friendly and of helping nature . Very clean room and washroom. Linens are also spotless.we didn't tried food.

The steps to the upper floors is made of wood, so you hear the steps of the people coming up & down but not too much.

The view is incredible. The bagrati Cathedral is near you can go by feet very nice weather. Me. Konstantine was very helpful, he don’t speak english but he can manage it.

The rooms were confortable and clean, definitely an excellent room for the little money you pay. Constantin, the owner, was so kind and always ready to help. A bonus of the hotel are the delicious breakfast (with very good coffee) and two the terraces where you can relax. Thanks!

Perfect stay! View from balcony was outstanding! The owner is super friendly, helpful and caring about his guests. Konstantin told us stories about hotel details which was very interesting. We felt like home. Rooms were perfectly clean. Thank you very much, we will come back one day!
