Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyNothing.Everything was perfect
Iveri is very nice man and everything was very clean. You are going feel like it's your home! Everything was perfect inside home. Although it was like a paradise in the yard. The hammocks, flowers and everything... I liked the sound of birds, cows and waterfall. You should definitely visit the waterfall. It was probably the best experience in our life.

BelarusEverything was absolutely perfect 10/10! The place is in total silence, day and night. I heard the birds singing. I loved there was no car sound. The yard of the house is huge, so there was enough space for peaceful sleeping in the hamak with the mountains view during the day. Food portions - OMG!!! It was my weekly intake per breakfast. I could not stop - the eggs, cheese, meat, and honey they cooked were from the same village and definitely super organic. Family who takes care of the place - they are such genuine people, you will never want to leave the place. I'm a solo traveller but never felt bored or alone. They kids will teach you Georgian dance and play guitar for you! Prices - they charge so low for such a great service and food quality

NetherlandsNo bad wordt about the accomodation, but we were a bit sad to see that the canyon with waterfall close to the village was being used as a garbage dump.
The accomodation is absolutely marvelous. Big rooms, clean everything, friendly and helpfull host, enormous garden where you can chill out. They also offer diner, breakfast and a bbq, but we didn't take any of it, since we had our own food with us.

PolandVery hospitable host. Place itself is further from the road and its perfect for anyone who wants to spend day or two and rest. Beautiful garden arranged, so the guests can rest in hammocs, chairs, sunbeds etc. Room itself is comfortable. Shared bathroom is also spacious, and has "separate" shower, which is not that common in Georgia.

CyprusThere are some minor details such as no A/C unit in rooms, which is a bit uncomfortable in summer. Though I guess one might count that as a village ambience)
Lovely and hospitable people! Fantastic home food. Had a great time at the dinner table together with the hosts and other visitors! Very peaceful and calming experience. I do recommend visiting if you have an opportunity for it not only the bed and breakfast, but the experience like no other!

GeorgiaThe road was a little bit harsh when driving first time (some renovation works). Pay attention that the bathroom is for share with other rooms.
The hosts are really nice and friendly, and the location is calm and picturesque. 30 min drive from Kutaisi. You can ask the hosts for hiking and swimming locations advice. You can also order breakfast and dinner.

NetherlandsMaybe the matras could have been a bit better and it would have been nice if there was an extra toilet upstairs. However, these are minor details.
- friendly welcome by Ivery - beautiful house, with enormous garden. Enough places (around 10 hammocks!) to chill - really relaxt, peaceful environment - superb dinner (30GEL), breakfast (15GEL) and homemade wine (10GEL). - only 25 minutes drive from Koetaisi, but you feel 100% in another environment. - During our roadtrip in Georgia, this was the best guesthouse. Ivery and Natia perfectly know the balance between being hospital and giving enough privacy. It was marvelous!

Friendly hosts, including children, who were super helpful, charmig, and spoke some English too, Iveriko and Liliko, you stole our hearts:) they brought us to this amazing waterfall, and then another one the next day which we could never get to on our own. The food was very tasty, too.

RussiaWonderful place, quiet and peaceful. The house is very well run, comfortable and stylish, the garden is available for guests and everyone could find a place to chill. Ive is a great host, always helpful and easy to communicate. Wifi dropped from time to time, but that was a minor thing versus all the benefits and comfort atmosphere. Thanks a lot!

Wonderful guesthouse in a quiet village. We truly enjoyed our stay at Iveri House and had the best sleep ever. Zarati waterfall is within walking distance. The walk can be a bit challenging though :) The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We also enjoyed a delicious freshly cooked breakfast and dinner at the property. We felt like a part of the family. You can see and feel that the owners have put their hearts into this property.
