The view from the room is splendid! The family is very friendly and Guka the manager is a champ! Anna with her simple yet awesome fresh breakfast made the start of the day amazing. Their recommendations on the restaurants and the food was really good and the place is very clean. It's a complete value for money!

Nothing, everything was exceeding our expectations

1. Amenities - The room is so cozy we almost didn't wanna get out of bed. The room has netflix, youtube, kinda like your home. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch. 2. BALCONY - The hotel's balcony and the view from such is the selling point for us. 3. Hotel Owners and Staff - This is a family-owned business. Luka, (the owners' son), an 11-year old boy, was the hotel's manager. Don't be deceived by his age, he's more mature than most. He delivers excellent service and speaks very good English. Aside from Luka, the hotel's other staff were also very friendly and easy talk to. When we were there, we managed to have a chat with Luka's cousins as well. 4. Food - We requested for breakfast and just for a minimal amount, we had a feast. Thanks to Luka's mom! 5. Location - Easily accessible if you have a car. These are only among the things that we liked about Hotel Kazbegi 1963. I am confident to say that if the opportunity allows, we would definitely come back for a longer stay.

Really enjoyed everything

Very friendly host who also organized transfer and tours for us. The hotel itself is very comfortable with great views of Kazbegi. Wanted to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 4 nights because it was so good. Totally recommended.

I totally recommend this place. The rooms are clean and the view is amazing. The hosts are a lovely family that made us feel like home. When we wanted to go somewhere out of the village, the host either drove us himself or helped organizing a driver for a fair price. The son speaks very good English and helps translating whenever needed. Breakfast is good and plenty. We had booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4 nights, as we enjoyed it so much. Thank you Anna, Lado and Guka for making our stay so comfortable.

Nice place with view on two side: on just mountains (from room) and on Kazbegi (from terrace), friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, delicious breakfast! The best place in Stepancminda 😊 And they recommended us a nice place for lunch - "My object", after visit we recommend it too :)

Location is perfect. Full view of Mt.. Kazbeg. 😍Uka, the son of the owner speaks English very well. His cousin Nathalie speaks well English too. Very accommodating. Anna, the owner, her breakfast is delicious. 😋 will definitely come back to this place😍

Hard to find the address, google maps navigates to a wrong place, but it is not the owner's fault. Fortunatly the host came to the center and leaded us to the house.

Very nice and clean room equipped with new furnitures and with a beautiful view to the mountains. Outstanding quality in Georgia. The host and her family was extremely kind, hospitable and helpful.

the address given by booking is not the good one. - the shower often doesn't have pressure and goes from cold to very hot even if we don't touch the temperature.

Room was clean, large and with good wood decoration. There was a great wiev from balcony. When we first arrived to hotel host served us coffee. She was very hospitable. There is a place in the garden for relaxing and in the second floor.

A great place to stay and so reasonably priced for what you get. It's new and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful upstairs terrace with fantastic view of the mountains. The best part, though, are the family that own and operate the guest house - Anna and her young son Guka were so welcoming. Guka speaks excellent English! Lots of animals around the home too that all want your attention. We enjoyed the place so much we returned for a few more nights. Possibly our favorite lodging in our one month in Georgia!

The soundproof is not as good and the beds are a bit noisy

Everything was great! A perfect place with very nice clean rooms, with all facilities and absolutely gorgeous terrace. Maybe the best view in Kazbegi. The owners are very nice and helpful. And their breakfast is amazing, we couldn't finish even a half of what they gave us.

i didn’t meet anyone there but I think that’s more a reflection on Kazbegi not really being a social place for solo travellers.

Well located just outside of the main area in the town, good views. The hotel manager was very friendly, bedroom was comfortable and floor was heated (I think?).
