There's a nice clock on the wall but each time I stay here there is no battery in it. Could it be that cheapskate renters are stealing the Double A battery? 🤔.....Watch out for the crazy police drivers in Bakuriani who use their sirens to clear the way so they can run their personal errands faster.

This has been my 3rd or 4th stay here over the years. Always a great experience at this modern apartment.....Before coming, advise Salome of your arrival time and her helper will meet you at the entrance to Block D for check-in.....As I write this review in April there are thousands of empty apartments in Bakuriani. The room rates listed on booking.com for  apartments are nonetheless mostly astronomical. This is one of the few apartments with a reasonable rate and it's probably better than 99% of the other apartments too.

Everything was great.

The apartment is warm and comfortable, with plenty of storage space, fast internet, fully functioning kitchen, parking on premises and mountain views. Both Didveli and Kohta slopes are 7min away by car.

I have been coming to Bakuriani for three years and I always check first to see if this apartment is available. It is often booked, but if it is open then I book it - and so should you!.....A modern, clean & quiet complex & apartment.....Plenty of parking.....The apartment is located on the top floor with a really nice view from the balcony (yes, there is an elevator).....Good enclosed shower.....Wifi is fast and reliable.....Full kitchen including a microwave.....The T.V. has excellent reception. Mostly Georgian channels but there are a few english channels too (France24, DW, Bloomberg).....Located just up the road from the Bakuriani centre.....Arrange check-in through booking.com messaging before arrival. Salome will get right back to you with excellent english.....Three well behaved dogs - the 3 amigos - have adopted the complex as their home and they patrol to keep the cattle and any riff-raff out. Be sure to feed them for their services.

I suppose I should write something in this section so that nobody thinks that I am a Bot controlled by the very helpful and welcoming apartment owner. So I did find something that can be improved - I suggest that the backside of the TV remote be better secured so that the batteries don't fall out.

This is my second stay at this modern apartment and both times have been perfect... Fully equipped for a long stay, including cookery, comfortable furniture and central heating... Lots of extra blankets, towels are provided and the shower is excellent.. Strong Wi-Fi that never cut out...Very nice view from the balcony (a simple table out there would have been nice but there is a small wooden table inside that can be taken outside)... Clean and fast lift ...My pet peeve with many hotels and apartments is the weak lighting that makes me feel like I'm living in a dark cave. But the lighting at Salome's Apartment is great, all the light fixtures work and - unlike in many hotels and apartments - *none* of the bulbs are burnt out or missing! Be sure to feed the couple of well-behaved dogs who reside in the complex yard so they have the energy to ward off the occational cow who wanders onto the premises.

I was told to check out earlier than the stipulated check out time. There's ice formations at the ground near the entrance which made it slippery.

The door to the balcony squeaks and needs something like WD-40.

I stay in rented apartments or hotels about 365 days a year and about 5% of them exceed my expectations and Salome's Apartment is one of them...Modern ( the apartment complex as well as the apartment itself), clean, everything from the Wi-Fi to the shower worked perfect... Fully equipped kitchen... The private balcony was great. The apartment is on the upper floor (4th level). Across the way was another part of the complex but it is one level lower so I was able to get a good view of Bakuriani and the surrounding mountains... The price is probably too low. When booking it made me suspicious that something might be wrong with the apartment but that was certainly not the case... The location was very good for me. I am not a skier and prefer to be close to the town centre and the apartment is just a 5 to10 minute walk away. Best to arrange in advance when and where you will meet Salome's friend for check-in. Salome is very responsive to messages and speaking only English is no problem... There is a modern elevator up to the apartment floor. Apparently some card (beyond the key) is needed to operate it. You may want to inquire at check-in.
