Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThis is such a special place. It's close enough to town to be easy to get around, but far enough away that you feel like you're away from it all. Every person who works there is a star, from the ladies who make the food, to the management, to the horse riding guides. Everyone was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout. I can't wait to come back and stay longer and pet all the dogs.

GermanyLevan and his team are super friendly and open which made our stay perfect - thank you for that! We really enjoyed the homemade breakfast each morning. The dishes slightly vary from day to day :) Also the Ranch Cafè nearby provides delicious dinner with a handwritten menu. Horseback riding and the beer tasting made our stay even more special.

GeorgiaIt was a bit in the middle of nowhere, just a 5 min ride from Signaghi, but it’s hard to walk there. But that’s just my pet peeve as I’m more into urban areas.
The place was great: clean, modern, tasty breakfasts, nice staff, entertainment facilities for those who are interested (tastings, horse ridings, cookery workshops).

GeorgiaIt was a walk to the restaurant in the dark down the road, and no one explained to us how to get there. No lights or torch provided
The view from the balcony over the hillside was very nice. The breakfast was plentiful, lots of options and French press coffee. The decoration in the room was nice and simple and clean. The local beer is very nice, we tried several types.

United StatesThe room needs some noise protection as we could hear people talk and breathe outside the room.
Me and my wife had a blast at this property. The place is so tranquil, with a bunch of dogs and horses around. The lunch was very delicious, fair portions but admittedly pricy. The breakfast was okay, not many fruits and veggies, mostly cheese, yogurt , eggs and bread. As someone who doesn’t eat vegetable oil, I didn’t find breakfast worthy but everything else was fine. The room we stayed was quite small, but enough for a night.

AustraliaWould have been nice if the room was cleaned daily, as the floors got dusty during the stay.
Loved that they brewed their own beer, which was a nice change from wine! Loved the food, it felt home cooked. Friendly doggies and the wood fires added to the cozy atmosphere of the place.

AustraliaThis is an elegant property but it is overpriced. And I noticed they allow dogs in the bedrooms.
Lost Ridge is a large attractive two storey villa with beautiful views of the countryside. It is run by two friendly young guys. We had a lovely double room with terrace. The room was modern and very clean. Just as well the terrace was spacious, it compensated for the small bedroom with limited hanging space. Some sweet local ladies prepared a magnificent breakfast for us in the morning. This property is a fair way out of Sighnaghi so access is by car or taxi.

ThailandThe room could do with a little updating (one wall was a bit dirty) but everything else was fine, the bathroom and beds are clean and the balcony was very nice.
Location just outside the center of Sighnaghi was peaceful with a picturesque view of the valley and surrounding hills and forest. The staff were very kind and accommodating, the restaurant had some of my favorite food in Georgia and beer (their own brew) was superb. The breakfast was generous and delicious!

absolute stunner of a property and place - I keep telling friends to go here. It's a magical inn with a horse ranch/restaurant attached filled with kind, lovely staff and delicious beer. One of the brewers took us down to see the beer cellar, called us a taxi, and booked our Marshrutka back to Tbilisi. We added on a short cooking lesson with the staff and really enjoyed getting to spend time in a kitchen. Feels like a family-run place with thoughtful amenities and features throughout. STAY HERE !!

United KingdomWe had a hard time finding the hotel (google/apple maps show you a road that is closed) unfortunately the signage from the main road is not easy to see and we had to get directions from a different hotel staff downtown. The mattress was not very comfortable.
The hotel is a short drive out of the city, and incredibly charming! The room (and bathroom) were very well done and we enjoyed sitting out at our terrace. We ate dinner at the ranch café next door, and breakfast downstairs, both excellent!
