How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

the way to reach it is a bit difficult
the hostess was very very friendly, she always checked in on us and served us with whatever we needed. The house felt very very cozy, you feel at home and the breakfast is amazing, the cheese is made by her mother and the honey is by her cousin !

Very lovely and friendly host. We had to leave early to catch the plane and the host woke up at 3 in the morning to say goodbye and order us a taxi. She even prepared a small breakfast for us.

This was our 3rd stay at this guesthouse and we couldn’t ask for anything better. The room is very clean and the host went out of her way to help us in every possible way. We had to leave at 3.45am and she packed breakfast for us to take and she ordered a taxi for us. She and her husband waited outside with us until the taxi arrived. The guesthouse is also very centrally located.

We were in Kutaisi when it was unusually snowy. The taxi couldnt come up the hill and it was quite difficult to get to the house. On the way back the host helped us and brought us down the hill with his car. Dont hesitate to ask for help. We had to pay in cash for the stay and that was a surprise for us. Luckily we had cash with us.
Very nice guest house. Everything is extremely clean and new. Good breakfast. Kind and helpful owners.

The drive to the guest house is really steep, although the hosts help and guide you what to do. But I even saw one day that a taxi driver refused to take guest up there and they had to walk the last bit. Especially during heavy rains it was a bit difficult to go up there. The bathroom was very small, but had everything you need. We did not like the bread that much that was served for breakfast. It was quite dry baguette. As there is amazing Georgian bread we would rather have that for breakfast. The other things were delicious homemade items though :)
Nice guesthouse with a very energetic host. She did everything to make the stay comfortable and also gave us homemade wine and bout soft bread for our baby son. The area is quiet and as it is up the hill there is a good view from the common balcony. The recommended restaurant "Our garden" was within walking distance and they offered friendly service and delicious food. Also Kutaisi center can be reached by foot.

The accomodation is on the hill, so not easy to reach by walk, but this was a tiny negative for us.
Everything was pleasant and comfortable, we really liked to stay there. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Payments are cash only which is quite common in Georgia but slightly inconvenient.
Lovely owners, great rich breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Cosy balcony with great view over the city. Very tasty homemade wine. The owners were very helpful with organising a taxi to the airport. Overall, a very nice, comfortable place.

The step of guest house is in such inclined that it's little difficult to drive the car
It's good place, the view from room is not ignorable, cleanses was on good level, walking distance from the botanical park and the town market and if you go upwards there is a very beautiful church (good place to visit) owner is very kind and helpful person, My special thanks to Mrs Maia makos for help of her and her husband
