no number or sign on the building, took me a while to find the place - only after talking to some local people. this seems to be a problem in Georgia, it was 2nd place to be without any sign/number I stayed.

new hotel with good location/view and rooms are big. manager Giorgi is very friendly and was able to chat with him about various topics, which is always nice to learn some local perspectives on local/world topics. Was offered to try home made wine, which was nice. The common area has good seating area and a large fridge which guest can use. There is still construction planed to finish up the hotel, which should improve it even more.

Spacious room and bathroom, a lovely balcony with great views of the snow clad mountain peaks. Walkable distance to the center of town. Parking in front of the property. Best of all was the interaction with the host who speaks very good English. He gave a small bottle of homemade wine which was excellent. It was a lovely two night stay.

10 minutes steep and beautiful walk from main central bus station where travellers usually get off, but if you have too much bags or with kids, the owner is more than welcome to pick you up for free. the owner of the property is very friendly and knowledgeable, he treats his customers like his friends, he is also a wine maker who makes good Georgian wine, so make sure you ask him for a glass or two as welcome drink as you arrived in this beautiful town of Kazbegi. I highly recommend anyone who visits Kazbegi stay in this lovely and homey hotel.

The view from our room was incredible. most of the rooms have access to the terrace both a view in the mountain Kazbegi. The rooms all very clean, cozy and well maintained. The owner of the place (Giorgi) is very welcoming, customer oriented and friendly. wishing good luck in developing the place.

Everything was perfect. The host is absolutely amazing - very polite and friendly. The location is great: a 5-minute walk from the centre of the town and the street itself is really quiet. The room had literally everything you need for a comfortable stay - fresh and clean white towels, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle, cups etc. The bed is fantastic - I slept like a baby 😁 The mattress and pillows are super comfy and bed linen is really soft. The room’s design is simple yet nice and stylish. Since the hotel is new, some repair work is still being done, but it didn’t bother me at all. Last but not least, the view is absolutely stunning! Every morning started with a picturesque scenery of gorgeous Kazbek mountain. I had a fantastic time there!

Everything was perfect.

This is the perfect place if you travel to Stepantsminda. The owner is super nice, friendly and helpful. He welcomed us with homemade wine which was incredible. The room is cozy and there is everything you need. The view is amazing! You can watch Kazbegi mountain and Gergeti monastery from your window. Location is great, close to the shop and restaurant. If you go to Stepantsminda you just have to stay here, it's the best place. Thanks Giorgi for such hospitality!

Milky Way has amazing beds and arguably the most wondrous views on Mt. Kazbeg of the entire village. Also, the property is owned by the friendliest host I’ve met to date. We had a lot of interesting conversations and always made sure everything was perfect. Furthermore, the bathroom is really nice with a luxurious shower and warm light. Don’t hesitate, just book here. You will absolutely not regret it. Everything is perfect and the amenities are better than what I had in hotels 4x as expensive.

First of all the rooms face the mountain and the building is slightly elevated above the town giving you unobscured views of the beautiful scenery. The beds face directly towards the mountain with large doors and a great balcony. You can sit in bed and watch the scenery or go outside on the balcony, it's set up perfectly. The beds are really comfy with high quality Turkish linen. There's 4 pillows - all good quality. Thick towels and even bathrobes. The bathroom is great, all new finishings and quality shower with a curtain. Hot water works in abundance. Rooms contain a hair dryer, 2 foot stools, 2 chairs, 2 outside chairs, out door table, indoor table and a dresser for you to store your bags. The beds even have reading lights. Light switches next to the bed and power points next to each side of the bed. There's basically nothing the host hasn't thought of and the quality of the rooms are similar if not better to what you would find in an expensive hotel. Speaking of the host, he's an absolute legend, super friendly guy who was always kind and making sure we were comfortable. Speaks great english too. You're not going to find anything close to this level of quality for anywhere near the same price.

This new hotel thought of everything you need (adjustable reading lights, bedside sockets,, balcony furniture) and invested in quality (great mattress, soft sheets, adjustable shower with good water pressure, well-secured windows, and nice kettle). Plus they give extras like a luxurious bathrobe, slippers, and soaps. The host is super nice and helpful. The view is fantastic!!

Nothing to complain about really. While the hotel does not have a dedicated restaurant yet, i was told it will soon be available as well, when construction is completed. Meanwhile you can enjoy a glass of wine.

The hotel is quite new (in fact parts of its are still under construction) so all the facilities are in good condition and well functional. It has a great view on the mountains, while also being in a quiet location, up from the center of the town which can get noisy. The owner is cool and friendly, offers homemade wine and good conversation.

Milky Way hotel is new and very clean. The rooms are in good size and have a wonderful view. Georgie was always there to help and answer our questions. I will definitely go back if I come again to kazbegi.

Hotel Milky Way exceeded my expectations. It's newly built hotel, everything looks nice and fresh. Beds are comfortable, rooms are large and super clean. Same or even less comfort you can get in 4 star hotels, but cost will be way more. Rooms have amazing views at Kazbegi mount and Holly Trinity church. And what's most important, owner Giorgi is very friendly and nice person, we were invited for free Chacha and Wine and had pleasant conversation.
