The only issue was that the showers were in the middle of the tiny bathroom with no curtain or screen so everything got wet after a shower and stayed wet. However I am sure this was reflected in the price.

Very nice and helpful host 👍 guesthouse is located in the old part of Akhaltsikhe, within walking distance from the Rabati fortress. Everything was clean, the room was spacey + comfy beds. Heating was working well (which helped a lot since we have visited in the middle of October). There's also a nice restaurant just behind the corner. Outstanding value for the price, I'd definitely recommend and hope to come once again.

The host – a friendly man with lots of stories to share, gave us excellent recommendations on where to have dinner. Rooms – a bit old (hence the name) but clean and light. Beds – also a bit old, might be time to upgrade, but most of us had a good sleep. Shower – I am not a fan of there being no separation between shower and toilet, but that's OK, just need to wipe feet more often. Breakfast – fantastic, plentiful and tasty, made from local ingredients.

There was absolutely nothing not to like! We had an exceptional experience.

Our hosts could not have been kinder, more gracious or accommodating. Our room was gorgeous and huge. The shower was hot and had excellent water pressure. The complementary full breakfast was ample and delicious. The location could not have been better. A real plus was that our hostess did a load of wash for us. That was really over the top.

There is no air conditioning (an air conditioner wasn't mentioned in the room description, and I simply didn't pay attention to it, so I have no complaints). There is an electric fan available.

There were temporary issues with water, but it was manageable and didn’t disturb us. Bathroom has no shower curtain but hosts set up everything so that it is minimally inconvenient.

We stayed here for a night. Lovely hosts, decent breakfast, great location, and most importantly IT WAS ACTUALLY CLEAN and therefore comfortable and you could actually relax here! (Unlike many other small properties like this)

Akhaltsikhe is a boring town, no need to go here other than visiting Vardzia.

Sweet staff, they don't speak English but are very helpful. Location is perfect, in the middle of the old centre and close to the bus station.

Old Town Akhaltsikhe is an amazing place. Me and my wife had an amazing time there. Room is big and clean. The owners are incredibly warm and kind. Homemade Breakfast is literally amazing.

An amazing place! Located in the old town close to the fortress. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, we had great conversations. The room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing - so much food and all very tasty. I could park my motorcycle in their inner courtyard which was great and it was safe there. Highly recommended!!

It would be nice have a local fresh georgian bread for breakfest instead of typical white bread that is available in Europe (and is not that great)

Terrible drain smell from the bathroom. Shower water was not particularly warm. After we reported the problem, the water heater was turned up, it still was not that hot.

Convenient location. Very friendly hosts.  Flexible hours for breakfast, simple and filling. Clean. There is a shared refrigerator in the hallway.
