How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

walls were not so soundproof, tough if fellow travelers decide to chat in the common areas at night.
family-run hostel with kind hosts. superb and fully-equipped kitchen. bed was very comfy, the showers too. convenient location, an easy walk to anywhere.

My bed was not necessarily made when I came so I did it myself. I didn't really mind though as it seemed like that was not the custum (for me to do it), so I don't think that will be a problem. This is only a minor observation but the place is quite small so even though there are sofas in the hallway and a table in the kitchen, hanging too much around seemed to be limited. Again not really anything to complain about.
Nice staff, free washing, sofas, and a possibility to cook with cooking utensils.

There are only one/two toilet/bath for the entire hostel so there's a wait a lot of time. The lockers are less for the number of beds, the host made a makeshift arrangement for me but it was not a lockable drawer.
The hostel is in the center. The prices are the best. The room is well-ventilated and lit with big windows but also has AC for the summer. You can make meals in the kitchen. It's great for a short stay.

Most of the time only one bathroom is available for guests. In bathroom would be nice to add slippers, hangers and shelves. Wi-Fi connection is a bit weak in bedrooms. There are less lockers than beds.
Cozy beds, there’s AC, Wi-Fi, equipped kitchen. Rather quiet place with friendly stuff. I really liked vintage furniture there. They have spacious lockers. The guesthouse is new and they are still changing some things.

Only one toilet for the whole hostel that also functions as one of only two showers. They have no ventilation, so it is always damp and a bit smelly. The kitchen is tiny and without ventilation.

The shower is pretty bad, bed uncomfy and rooms smell. Host doesn't know English. Overall it feels less safe than other places at the same price. I think it's one of those places that when their rating reaches certain low point, they open the same hostel with different name, because the place seemed like it's been running way longer than it has been on Booking. You can find much better by paying 2-5 GEL more, but it's not a bad place per se.
The location is good and atmosphere maybe more local than other places. Host is friendly.

Is just another house with a bunch of bunk beds. Tiny kitchen, one of the toilets was closed during the entire night till 11am. Should be cheaper

This place is very homelike, cozy, and comfortable. The location is great. There are restaurants with Georgian cuisine nearby, and a big supermarket where I could find anything I needed. I also wanted to mention the owners of the hostel. I had a chance to have a great conversation with them about anything, including life in Georgia, and that made me love this country even more. I would be happy to come back.

I had to stay in Tbilisi for one night. I found this new hostel in the heart of Tbilisi. Perfect location. Everything you need, is near. About facility, amazing. Separate bathrooms. Very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Special gratitude to staff and owners Vano and Gvantsa. They welcomed with open heart and mind. Joyful and great people... My big recommendations for this place...
