the hosts were very friendly and caring, the location, view, and interior are very nice! there are a kettle and a good microwave in the cabin. in that district there are several beautiful churches, forest, a very good Georgian restaurant, a small grocery shop, and a waterfall — some are accessible by foot but for some you will need a car. there are cute dogs living at the property

Entrance area is a bit dark and scary..

We had an enchanting experience at this location. Initially, the entrance of the facility reaching at night made us feel scared, but the attentive caretakers of the resort ensured a delightful stay. The facilities were outstanding, offering breathtaking views of icy landscapes. If any time I plan a trip to Kazebi, this spot will always be my top choice with an affordable price tag. Staying here felt like being part of a welcoming family with the facility owners. We find ourselves reminiscing about the days spent here and eagerly anticipate returning for more moments of relaxation. It's truly the best place to stay, offering stunning views of ice-covered mountains. We still miss the captivating scenery behind the facility—a must-walk area, especially during the winter.

We recently had the privilege of staying at this exquisite mountain cottage through, and to say that our experience was nothing short of magical would be an understatement. From the onset, the owners displayed a level of hospitality that was through the roof. On two separate occasions, they went out of their way to give us a lift, free of charge, which was a godsend. The cottage itself is a gem tucked away in the serenity of the mountains, offering breathtaking panoramic views that serve as a daily reminder of the beauty our world holds. Waking up to the sight of sun-kissed mountain peaks was a daily treat we looked forward to. Inside, the cottage boasts of solid amenities ensuring a comfortable stay. The utilities were top-notch with uninterrupted power, heating, and water supply, making our stay cozy and hassle-free. The communication channels were smooth, ensuring we were well connected with the outside world while enjoying our peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. The blend of natural beauty outside and modern conveniences inside, topped with the heartwarming gestures from the owners made our stay a memorable one. Highly recommend this mountain cottage to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, and immerse in nature's lap with a touch of homely hospitality.

Exceptional, best stay we had in Georgia. Beautiful, clean, and best scenery views from cottage. Hosts and her family were so amazing. They treat us like family. Place is a little bit far from the city, but it doesn't matter at all. They even provided fresh cow milk for our kids and even gave my kids toys to play. My kids were so happy they even played together. I wish we could have stayed for more days. If we visit Georgia again, we are surely going to stay again.

You will have all you need when you stay here with great view, great location to enjoy Kazbeghi. The host is very nice and their family always wellcome us with the smile, we fell happy during time stay here. The cottage is new, beutiful, super clean and have enough facilities. The price is good, and it is far away of Stepantsminda about 8km, if you have a car or you can prepare some food before coming, this is great home where you should stay. Thank you so much.

without own transportation (ie car/motorcycle) it is very far from everything - even the next restaurant is 3km away, and only chance transportation to stepantsminda. with no meals served, make sure to bring supplies. if you do there aren’t many other downsides - maybe only that the 2 rooms are not sound proofed against each other

Location is great for watching evening parade of cows from the pastures, but you definitely need a car

Low-key alternative to Stepansminda, particularly well suited for families with kids (as we were) - owner is a very nice guy with interests in Caucasian dogs :-) Our boy really enjoyed three of their puppies. Probably not for everyone (typical village house-cats and dogs included), not a luxury apartment. For me, personally, this was a great experience and we liked it a lot. Knowing basic Russian is good knowledge to possess.

I expected a bit more from the "kitchenette". There was only a kettle, no fridge and no microwave (but please check with them, maybe that will have changed by the time you read this).

They were so kind! The room is really cozy with a nice wooden style. Nice bathroom. Lots of space! The area is quite peaceful, it's great if you want to feel isolated and away from the town. If you don't have a car, it's easy to hitchhike, and there are taxis leaving from the town of Stepantsminda to Sioni (where the hotel is located). I'm sure you can ask the staff to order you a taxi to leave from the hotel as well. There's also a garden with a few benches, it's quite cute.

Everything was perfect

The room is in a pastoral and peaceful location, perfect to relax and close to the main town. David and his family are extremely welcoming and helpful. They even drove us around and were so generous.

Simply amazing. Quiet, has all necessary amenities and amazing host. Was able to relax and drink some wine outside. Cats that live there are awesome as well :)
