How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The noise of the other people in the hotel. The location is close to the airport, but it's hard to get a Bolt from there because there are no cars nearby
Friendly staff that helped me get a cab in the morning to the airport. The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. In the morning, she woke up and helped me get a taxi to the airport cause I forgot to schedule one.

The rooms were not very sound proof, you could easily hear noises from outside and from the corridor. I had to get up twice at night to ask people to be quiet.
Simple but conveniently close to the airport, took around 8 min by car. Good value for money. The room had two large beds. Small bathroom with simple shower solution but all worked well. Very good food at their restaurant next door.

Everything was fine, really. I got what I expected. I will not nitpick but, if pushed, the room could probably been bigger.
I chose it because of the closeness near the airport for my 3am flight. In that sense it was perfect. Actually the hotel was newer and more comfortable than expected and the staff very helpful, after I discovered I made a mistake with my booking dates. Will recommend the hotel for anyone who needs to be near the airport.

Perhaps a shower mat for the floor?
This hotel is an excellent value. I needed a place for "day use" while waiting for a delayed flight at the airport - which is 8 minutes away by taxi. (use the Bolt application - it cost me 14.5 Lari as I recall). The room is quite OK for a place to lie down for a few hours. The shower/bathroom is OK - a slippery floor - but it was "good enough". Anna, the very nice lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is right next to a banquet facility, so it was a bit noisy, as there was an event going on. All the reviews posted of this unbelievable host, who helped people get to and from the airport. This host was not there when we stayed. The only employee was a woman who didn't speak a word of English. We had a car, so it was not an issue.
I was worried about staying here because of the mixed reviews, but it turned out to be an excellent place to stay. There are not many options near the airport, but this hotel was close, clean and comfortable. It was very convenient for us as we had a very early flight.

The hotel is very close to Tbilissi Airport and therefore well suited for a short stay after early arrival or before early departure. The hotel has all the comfort you need for that. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel when arriving from outside of Tbilissi, it should be easier the other way around.

we used this hotel to chill few hours before our flight and it was great because it not far from the airport. there’s plenty of space and the restaurant delivered food directly to our room

A hot water boiler and coffee would be wonderful for those early morning departures to the airport.
Hotel Ragnar is a clean, basic hotel close to the airport. We couldn’t find anything better near the airport and this was perfectly fine. The recently renovated no frills room - just beds, desk and overhead lights - worked well for one night. The room does have air conditioning and a TV. Despite the confusing descriptions on Booking.com the room did have a small but functional private bathroom. The on-site restaurant is also good and clearly set up to serve much larger groups that stay at the hotel. They have an extensive menu of mostly Georgian specialties. Service was friendly and efficient and the food inexpensive and tasty. The Wi-Fi bogged down in the evening but was generally OK.

In the night it was not easy to find the hotel, it's hidden a bit behind the gas station. Also google has a wrong coordinate. It's just in front of the "Gulf" gas station.
Room was clean, perfect to stay the night after arrival to the airport (7 min drive). We had no problem with late arrival. The room is according to the price. Clean, relatively quiet (depends on the neighbors). Positive - parking place just in front of every room. There is also a restaurant in the nearby to have a breakfast, simple, but nice.

It took us a whole hour to find the hotel. The location in google maps and the address written in the website doesn’t match the actual hotel location

The surrounding location is a little bare.
This was a perfect hotel for what we needed (arrived late into the airport and needed sleep before we continued to gudauri). Close to the airport and on the outskirts of Tbilisi made it easy for onwards travel. The hotel is actually a series of cottages which was quite nice. very good space.

No bedside lamp so had to switch off ceiling light at door and walk to bed in the dark.
I left too early for breakfast. Very good, friendly personal attention.
