Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very convenient location, in the area of Turkish influence, with many Middle-Eastern cafes and restaurants. Nice balcony with a bustling street and mosque view. Very spacious room with all the facilities needed.

LithuaniaThe majority of the reception workers do not speak English, except for one whom we met only the first day. There should be always at least one person at the reception who speaks English. If my mom wasn't able to speak Russian or I was visiting alone, I don't know what I would have done since I speak English only.
The hotel is in a good location, you can reach the center as well as the beach quite easily from there. It was clean, the beds were really comfortable, in the bathroom there were even toothbrushes with toothpaste - nice! We liked the balcony and the street view from there also.

KazakhstanIt was cold in the room so I had to switch the "heat" mode on the air conditioner. The water in the tap runs cold and you have to wait a couple of minutes till it gets warm.
I really liked the location of the hotel. It's in the old part of the city close to different cafes and the Italian Piazza, which is beautiful.

United StatesThe hotel had me detained by police to extort cash from me. I asked for my credit card to be charged upon check-out, they said ok. The next day at Tbilisi airport, I was told I could not leave the country because the hotel had reported me as a criminal to the police. They forced me to open a local bank account and transfer cash before releasing me. This caused me to miss my flight, and delayed departure 24 hours. I had to purchase a new plane ticket and pay for an extra night of lodging. Not to mention a round trip to the airport, and pay international calls to my embassy and the police to resolve the situation. A REAL NIGHTMARE

United StatesThe mattress was concave and uncomfortable. You could easily hear your neighbors through the walls. Two of the staff nocked on my door to tell me checkout was at 12 (I already knew). They did not accept credit cards for payment.
