How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location was easy to find. Not far from the airport. Arrived late but no problem. Breakfast was nice

the room without balcony is on the courtyard, so children are loud on a day time
very comfy room for family stay, free tea and coffee, all needed facilities and stuff is always there to help

One issue during the stay is that I could hear all the activities happening in the other rooms. Additional soundproofing of the walls in each room is needed.
The location is okay, and the hotel staff were friendly, especially the owner. Additionally, the rooms are well-tidy and the mattress was comfortable

Super kind and hospitality staff. It’s the first you need to know about that hotel! 😉Linen, towels, room cleaning and room conditions are the best, like I was the first visitor to this hotel. Everything is neat, new, clean. Good location in the quiet place. And you will have nice cozy balcony in your room. Delicious and hearty breakfast. And a bar with a large selection of drinks at your disposal. Stay here, you won't regret!

Everything was absolutely great! Starting from the owner and the hotel personel and finishing at the vibe there. Delicious breakfast, clean and spacious room. We were welcomed with the homemade delicious wine. While our stay at Sonata was raining and we were asked if we need an umbrella - that was so sweet! We also got a transfer from the hotel to the bus station. Highly recommed!

Finding the location was slightly difficult, but no worries google maps will lead you the correct location.. Booked for one night but extended to three more nights.
The location was perfect as we were travelling from Gonio. The view from the room was so calming and it was very quiet, we managed to properly rest before a long day of driving.The hotel is very close the beach,So you can enjoy the beach front.Best Stay with economical price...

Very nice, clean, and new hotel! The manager was extremely nice, he recommended me a good restaurant and also offered me a transport. Totally recommend this place! :)

Hotel feels fresh and new, comfortable and clean. It is walking distance to the beach like 6 mins. Overall it is good value for money and there are many shops and restaurants near by.

The sound insulation was non-existent. The humidity in the bathroom was extremely high and difficult to control.
The large fridge in the room. The large parking space. The reliable WiFi. The water with lemons. The powerful AC in the room. The free umbrellas. Friendly staff.

Not electricity first and part of second day. So airco didn't work, was a very hot night. Lights dosnt work either of course and was so dark the night. I wasn't given any discount or apologise cos of that. They only said that happen in Georgia. Couldn't pay by card because the machine doesn't work. Some staff doesn't speak English but very kind and attentive anyway.
Staff very kind and hotel very clean. Allow stay much more time than check out time

Noise from the hotel and road.
Offer to cover of transfers to and from the hotel was really good from the staff. The first breakfast was with the issue, but the rest ones were alright.

the property is done in a old building with zero soundproofing , u can hear every thing from other rooms! every voice from neighbourhood is also audible .you literary need to wait till everyone in being good sleeps so that u can sleep, there is a smell of dampness in the rooms and no room cleaning is done !
