Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We loved our stay in Wine Rock Hotel. The hotel is modern, convenient and close to old city Center. We had a suite with balcony- the view is just gorgeous. Location can not be better. Also personal was friendly and always happy to help.

PhilippinesHousekeeping did not change the sheets but cleaned the rest of the room on the day we asked for cleaning. We had to ask for housekeeping again the following day specifically to change the sheets then they did.
The hotel was a good walking distance to downtown area. The room is cozy with a big window overlooking the river and city which we liked the most on top of it being the only room on the bottom floor with a terrace. Breakfast is decent. The staff are friendly and accomodating.

Germany- very thick, uncomfortable pillows (the mattress itself was fine) - very small enclosed shower cabin, even for a small person - late checkout fee was 50% of the room rate, no matter whether one wanted to stay 1h or 6h more (there should be more distinction if one just needs to stay only 2-3h more, for example, and charging e.g. 25% in such a case)
+ clean and modern room + friendly staff + internet in general had good signal and was fast (88 Mbit/s download speed, 93 Mbit/s upload), but the WiFi wasn't 100% reliable and stopped working once (for approx. half an hour), so if there had been a video conference or a meeting at that time, it wouldn't have been good + 2 free water bottles and 1 free wine bottle +/- the area around the hotel is calm and the noise insulation towards the outside is good (because the window in my room was facing a wall outside), but the noise from other guests can be heard + breakfast was fine (but not outstanding)

EstoniaWe had the room next to the reception, thus it was a bit noisy when people were talking in the lobby. Also, the windows towards the river did not hold enough of noise away as the traffic noise was quite huge even with closed windows.
Rooms were clean. All the necessary facilities were in place. Beds were comfy and breakfast pretty okay. Staff was always helpful and there.

IndiaThe Owner and Staff of Wine Rock hotel were the nicest people we met in Tbilisi. The hotel is located at a perfect place from all the major attractions in the City. We requested for a early breakfast (2 hours earlier than they start) and the the Chef made sure to make us breakfast boxes as we had to leave. Will recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Georgia. If we are ever back here, we will only book Wine Rock hotel. Bonus points: they also offered me the traditional drink Chacha for free.

United KingdomThe breakfast is fine, but could be better.
A really lovely boutique hotel with excellent staff and a stunning location for anyone who likes an evening on a balcony enjoying the views. Welcomed with a bottle of Georgian wine in the room, and (no kidding) chacha on tap in reception. Some reviews have commented on the lack of an elevator/lift. That is a legitimate issue for some people, but it's worth noting that the hotel has five floors and street level reception is on the middle floor, so you have to ascend or descend two floors at maximum to come and go, and staff are happy to help with heavy bags on arrival and departure.

A couple of things to highlight here: The location is amazing, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Likely the best room during our Georgia visit. It also included a complimentary bottle of wine. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was also good.

United StatesNothing, we loved every bit about this Hotel.
Exceptional Location, very safe and quiet, yet very close to the city center and within short walking distance to the main attractions and buses & metro station. Very clean and comfy room. The room size was bigger than our expectation. We booked the room with a balcony and the balcony views were just amazing. Room had everything you might need during your stay, our room even had a Jacuzzi. The Staff was very nice and helpful. They even provided us a connecting socket for our phone and laptop chargers. Wi-fi was great too, very important for me since I work remotely .
