The opening in the bathroom wall. You can hear a guest next door when using the washroom so I felt I really didn’t have privacy.

The location is in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Emmanuel really went out of his way to help with whatever was needed. He gave me great tips on ride shares.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. They went out of their way to assist from the arrival at the airport, linking me up with a driver and even assisting me during one of the days when I was stranded commuting to a conference. Sure, there may be other pricier and more luxurious hotels in the same area, but Charis is a small family owned business you will be promoting. I especially thank Emmanuel, he was very helpful and the food was very nice too.

This is a space ran by a family. It was such a heart warming experience. Having my breakfast cooked by Amelia each morning was beautiful. She even cooked dinner for me one night. This space is a rare gem and will give you the quiet, clean, accommodating and restorative vibes you are looking for. It’s clean, has great WiFi and the host is very much at your service and dedicated to making you feel at home and cared for. I would highly recommend!

Amazing staying with the best hosts. Emmanuel and Emilia were simply perfect: attentive and very kind. The breakfast is simple and delicious and the huge room is extremely clean and confortable. For sure I'd stay at Charis again. The location I consider excellent in a quiet neighborhood. A very nice memory I'll keep from them.

Its was a little bit far from the historical center but ok. They managed to have a driver for us with with a really good price. He was nice and good driver, very helpfull too, like the rest of our stay.

We shared a wonderful time with the owner and it's collaborators. They were very helpful and welcoming peoples. If we come back to Accra, we will sure go there again. We loved our stay with those loving and caring peoples.

At some point the Wi-Fi went off so I spent the entire evening unable to connect t wondering what happened. I learnt the previous sub had expired and all was good again the next day.

The breakfast was wonderful. I had an early flight so I missed having breakfast on my last day there. The location was just what I needed, a quiet and serene area was what I was looking for while looking for a place to stay.

Charis Home Services was almost like a family-stay and I enjoyed the warm welcome and support I received from the hosts. It was almost like I was a cousin or extended family member and they looked out for my safety. Felt in some ways like going to my hometown to spend some time with grandpa!

I got married and the staff was beyond helpful. They helped plan the dinner party after the wedding, they helped me find a makeup technician, and helped with the cake. It was wonderful!!! I couldn't find a better place with a better staff to assist with such a wonderful life changing event!

I will say the building was hard to locate there is no proper signage at the front so it may take you a while to find but not the negative.

Miss Amelia was very kind and served us breakfast every morning. Made sure we had everything we needed to be very comfortable. location was not bad either located in North Legon. I enjoyed my stay thank you very much.

I do not think we could have found a better place to stay in Accra. Emilia, Eric, and all the team at Charis Home Services looked after us so well, making sure that we had everything that we needed so that we could go about our long, long days of work while we were in Ghana. They showed such care for us - from speaking with the taxi driver from the hotel who could not find the road and then coming out to meet us, home-cooked breakfasts with local porridge, eggs, and fresh fruit, advice about travelling, areas we should visit, gifts we should give, to making sure we were home safely each day. On our final day one of our interviewees asked us where we were staying, and we told her. She said "I've never heard of it. I hope that means it is one of the little home places, they are the absolute best places to stay in Accra. They are so much better than the big hotels". We couldn't agree more. We had such a lovely time in Accra, even though we were there on business and not for fun. We wholeheartedly recommend Charis Home Services.
