    Breakfast could have a wider and consistent selection e.g jam one morning not next; restaurant had limited offerings on some days; hotel is in quiet location but not easy to find for taxi drivers;

    Spacious comfortable clean rooms; very good shower ; strong WiFi: free coffee and snacks in room; helpful staff ; patio ; quiet

    The breakfast isn’t the best, just a few options but for one or two days it’s okay.

    The property looks small but it has all the necessary things. The bedrooms are great, clean and nicely decorated. The bed is super comfortable and big, I don’t think I ever slept in a more comfortable bed in my life, I have difficulties with sleep, but after breakfast I would take a nap and it was wonderful. The bathroom is good too. I loved how the blinds in the window really work, so it was easy to sleep when it was light outside. There is a scale on the bedrooms, so it was a nice surprise. The Wi-Fi is good and the tv worked fine. The staff is nice and friendly too. There is a small gym and swimming pool. The location is great, it’s less than 10 minutes walk from the Kumasi Mall, so it makes it easy to shop, eat around and watch a movie.

    A real home from home in Kumasi!

    It was not always clear which things could be added to your bill and paid for by card and which were being done by separate contractors to be paid for by cash- such as the ironing service. Also, it would be good if there was a checklist for staff setting meal tables and replenishing sugar, teas, etc for the rooms. We had to jeep asking for bowls,, glasses, plates, sugar, etc. There was no consistency, we were never sure what there would be for us. They ran out of real coffee for breakfast after the weekend - we stay Friday to Thursday! The continental breakfast and English breakfast choices need to be improved; people appreciate real sausages not frankfurts, bacon, baked beans, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms, fried eggs or soft boiled eggs - not always omelette, and real coffee not instant coffee! A variety of fruit, muesli and pastries or breads. Maybe orders could be taken before?

    The property is clean, comfortable and quiet. We had the privacy we needed, we were visiting with my sister and her family to celebrate my mum’s special birthday. The hotel was a short walk from the Kumasi Shopping Mall. The swimming pool was cleaned every time we wanted to use it. The staff was very attentive, patient, polite, helpful and professional. The Ghanaian dishes for breakfast, etc were absolutely delicious and they did a good job mostly of keeping things hot.

    Not really a negative more of a suggestion. The chef is great and the food is absolutely delicious so having more food options would be even better.

    Absolutely loved the exceptional customer service and the friendliness of everyone especially Nana and Kofi. Thank you so much for making our visit so comfortable and feel like we were at home. We will definitely be making Frederick's lodge our home when in Kumasi. Absolutely appreciated all of the home comforts of a comfortable bed, great WiFi, great shower and delicious food to mention just a few. Loved the rooftop bar and the swimming pool.

    No elevators, when customers exit the room with the key card all utilities are shut off, therefore leaving it too hot in the rooms and some of the breakfast foods were too spicy.

    I liked the property was not big it had a more intimate setting, the staff was very helpful and nice.

    I could hear other guests walk up the stairs and into their rooms. There is a lot of echo in the buildings. Maybe some carpets and plants can help prevent so much echo.

    Cons are: The road to hotel is a rough road, and breakfast is not very good, but is not bad at all. My local collegues loved the breakfast though.

    Everything is good, the owner thought of every little detail. BRAVO!!! Furniture, bathroom accessories, cleanliness, service is very very good for Ghana standards.

    Breakfast was a scrumptious affair, however it would be great to have a decent cup of coffee start the day, not the standard Nestle coffee sachet.

    Airport shuttle to hotel, by the hotel manageress, and easy check-in. My room was very clean and comfortable - air conditioning in the room and dining area was welcome. I was offered dinner (room service each night) and took the recommended local dish (most probably adjusted for my European taste) which was amazing.
