How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Hot water & Wi-Fi not always available but this was also due to the power outages.. Fortunately a generator was available so the place wouldn’t run out of electricity all together.
Lovely garden, very nice personnel & good food! A very relaxing atmosphere!

Nothing it was perfect.
Kokrobite gardens is a little hidden paradise close to the beach but away from the noise. Caye and the staff are amazing, looking after us and making sure we are ok. The food is exceptional, possibly the best pasta in Ghana.

I believe that the staff are treated very well and that shows in their mood with customers. I have been living in Ghana for 3 months and they have the best customer service so far. The place was beautiful and clean. Also they have amazing pasta and pizzas with quality incrediences. The owner was very nice and caring. I would recommend this place for sure.

I found the memory foam mattress uncomfortable and difficult to move in the night once your body had created a mould, but I just love a firm mattress, so very personal feedback, our ac unit maybe needs a service as it wasn’t very effective, and a sun lounger would have been great.
Beautiful little oasis with a pool and the most fantastic food and really lovely staff.

It would be good to have access to refill our own water-bottles to reduce plastic waste. It would also be nice if the staff would refil toiletpaper and check on the room without having to ask for it daily. The bucket shower outside was also not refilled regularly (to rinse off sand after the beach)
Beautiful garden, nice pool, clean delicious pizza, juices and coffee. An oasis close to the beach. Quiet spot and friendly staff.

This is a great place to stay in Kokrobite. A beautiful little garden hidden away. Staff were so helpful and lovely. Food and cocktails were great. Couple minutes walk to the beach.

Beddings and the lack of chairs or benches inside the rooms as well as the roughness of the pool bottom

Wifi connection could be better in the rooms.
Very calm and relaxing environment, pretty close to the beach. Lovely pool, clean and spacious room. The food and service were great. Very nice staff as well. Thank you, had a good time!

The roads.
Location was spot on,nice and quite but within easy reach off the beach parties. Best spag-boll Iv ever had, a great host and a friendly environment great for families with children.

I had a great time staying here and would definitely like to go back! The gardens were so relaxing and the pool was lovely, everywhere so clean. The food was really tasty, especially loved the pancakes for breakfast. The owners were great, friendly and relaxed people, very helpful and kind. I highly recommend staying here or even just visiting for dinner, the pasta was amazing.

Very nice and quite place where you can relax and eat good food expecially their pizza 🍕!my room was very clean just in front of the swimming pool. The place is located just 100 m from di ocean and close to the taxi station. The owners are kind and helpful!don't forget to try thei fresh juices, maybe in front of the swimming pool!!!very recommended!

It is a lovely place. It is like an oasis, calm and safe. The place is full of green, there are beautiful trees and you can see beautiful colourful birds. The owners are a lovely and helpful family. I really would like to stay longer and I do recommended it without any doubt.

The location ins wonderful.....it is 100m walk from the beach, but because the garden/pool/restaurant space is so heavenly you rarely want to venture out. The owners are an incredibly warm and caring duo who have created an "extended family" vibe to their guest house and restaurant. If I could have stayed longer I would have.

The room was not clean properly, it's extremely expensive for what you get. Food is expensive and no take away options are given.
