United KingdomWhile the wall plugs in the room were a bit temperamental, the staff promptly provided an extension lead to resolve the issue. However, considering the esteemed status of the hotel, I expected a more consistent electrical setup.
Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra offers a delightful retreat with its stunning beachfront location and impeccable service. During my stay, I was impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, especially the cooks and waitresses who went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful dining experience. Their hospitality truly made me feel at home. The meals served were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, satisfying both my taste buds and my appetite. I highly recommend dining at Labadi Beach Hotel for anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience in Accra.

United StatesThe restaurant and bar staff needed to be more knowledgeable for a hotel in this price category. The friendly waiters would disappear for 20 minutes after an order was placed, restaurant staff had no idea what the buffet costs or what beers were on tap, and drinks at the pool had to be ordered three times before they arrived - even though there were only about 20 guests and 6-7 servers at the pool. The (expensive but excellent) dinner on the restaurant patio was cut short when the DJ at the pool bar decided to turn up the volume to "11" - perfectly fine for the pool bar, but why link that volume to speakers where (mostly old) people dine?! One of the pool showers and one toilet each at the workout room and near the restaurant were out of service - never seen that at this hotel! This is one of the iconic hotels of the Gold Coast and the whole experience just felt like there had been a big staff turnover - hopefully a problem that can be solved quickly with some more supervision and training. Still worth a visit.
The ambiance and layout of the entire hotel and gardens is great. The breakfast is very nice.

United StatesI have stayed off and on at the Labadi Beach Hotel since 2017 and have always been amazed by the overall experience. This year, however, some of the restaurant/bar staff were less trained, cocktails were subpar, and pools were not as pristine as usual (for a $350/night hotel). I hope this is a temporary glitch and not a sign of a beginning slow decline.
Rooms are excellent and quiet. Breakfast is very good.
