While the wall plugs in the room were a bit temperamental, the staff promptly provided an extension lead to resolve the issue. However, considering the esteemed status of the hotel, I expected a more consistent electrical setup.

I could not connect my laptop to the internet and this was quite frustrating. I could not use the bath tap because the stopper was spoilt so it would be good for the hotel management to ensure that repairs are made.

The price of the room was very expensive, also the taxi pice offered from the hotel to the airport was 9 times more expensive than a local taxi which we ended up taking instead.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the resort was beautiful and the food was delicious. i requested decoration inside the room for our Anniversary and they kindly made this happen. my wife was very happy.

- for the price we paid we expected a bit more. - we always had to wait for long time to get a dr I k at the pool and waiters would not come you had to call them - there were flies everywhere at the pool which were itchy and made lying there very uncomfortable

The restaurant and bar staff needed to be more knowledgeable for a hotel in this price category. The friendly waiters would disappear for 20 minutes after an order was placed, restaurant staff had no idea what the buffet costs or what beers were on tap, and drinks at the pool had to be ordered three times before they arrived - even though there were only about 20 guests and 6-7 servers at the pool. The (expensive but excellent) dinner on the restaurant patio was cut short when the DJ at the pool bar decided to turn up the volume to "11" - perfectly fine for the pool bar, but why link that volume to speakers where (mostly old) people dine?! One of the pool showers and one toilet each at the workout room and near the restaurant were out of service - never seen that at this hotel! This is one of the iconic hotels of the Gold Coast and the whole experience just felt like there had been a big staff turnover - hopefully a problem that can be solved quickly with some more supervision and training. Still worth a visit.

The ambiance and layout of the entire hotel and gardens is great. The breakfast is very nice.

I have stayed off and on at the Labadi Beach Hotel since 2017 and have always been amazed by the overall experience. This year, however, some of the restaurant/bar staff were less trained, cocktails were subpar, and pools were not as pristine as usual (for a $350/night hotel). I hope this is a temporary glitch and not a sign of a beginning slow decline.

Rooms are excellent and quiet. Breakfast is very good.

The front desk staff on arrival were rude and arrogant.

The security staff was so kind and helpful, rather than over protective. They made sure we enjoyed things we may not have known about. The restaurant and bar staff were so kind! Helped us celebrate a birthday at the last minute in a wonderful way. The live entertainment at dinner was phenomenal!

Very minor - outlets were a bit far from the bed. The music in the outside seating area was very loud, but closing our windows helped.

Beautifully designed and maintained, with spacious grounds and elegant landscaping. We appreciated the pool, large rooms and beds with proper blankets, and good service. The breakfast buffet was also great, with options for vegetarian and vegan.

When you have a problem and needs the managers attention, the manager ignore any attempt to resolve and that is a huge indictment on the company. She doesn't even respond to mails.
