The staff were so lovely and helpful. The hostel had a really tranquil atmosphere, despite being in a location that was easy to get tro tros from. It was also a good place for meeting people. The room was clean and comfortable.

The staff's kindness is truly remarkable, and their deafness doesn't diminish their welcoming spirit. The host, in particular, was exceptional; she made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Despite the place being somewhat hidden from the road, its secluded charm as a beautiful green oasis made it all the more enchanting. If I ever find myself returning to Kumasi, there's no doubt I'll choose to stay here again.

I enjoyed how the place is so nicely taken care of! People were friendly, room was perfectly clean and with air con, small light for reading, a wardrobe, plugs. Breakfast was just enough, and its nice to see some animal wandering around the grass :) Even if we havent took part in any workshop, the vibe was cool :)

Only drawback was no TV but they do have pretty good WiFi so my laptop sufficed

Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast included. Tro tro five minutes away to heart of Kumasi which is a 10 to 15 minutes ride. Grounds are lovely and peaceful. Safe and secure place.

I would have liked warm water for the shower. The power for the AC shut off a couple of times.

The staff with hearing differences were very kind. The majority of staff on site could speak and hear. Good price for a safe, practical stay.

1. Mostly, Wifi didn’t work during my stay..,, I couldn’t go out half day because there was no Wifi….Although I asked staff, they didn’t know how to solve it. 2.children who stay here required me to give some food. When I eat breakfast, ice cream and some snacks, they always came to me, and they ate instead of me. It was okay but I was exhausted because i wanted to eat food as my dinner..:)

1.location is amazing because accommodation is upstairs. I got fresh air, quiet atmosphere and comfortable time 🥰I really enjoyed to stay your accommodation. If I can I want to stay longer . 2.staff is wonderful. Everyone is hospitable and helpful. I love them:) Especially the manager is so kind and his understanding is so quickly :) like Japanese hotel. The other staff always tried to understand and solve my issues. I want this accommodation to keep going forever

I am spoiled, I would love a hot shower. Only 2 or 3 private rooms, so email ahead of time if you want your own room instead of the dorm.

The breakfast was great. Crepes, egg sandwiches, fruit, coffee, milo. The staff is exceptional. Could not be friendlier or more helpful. This is a training site for the school for the deaf. Everyone tries very hard and gets excellent supervision. Very nice place regardless of price, but an extraordinary value. Hard to believe they make any profit.

Nothing, for I loved everything about the place.

The hospitality was awesome and amazing. The surrounding and environment was very clean and well kept and the breakfast served was first class and the most fascinating thing is that, it was prepared by a deaf and dumb woman and everything was on point. I really love the place and would humbly recommend it to all travelers and persons traveling to Kumasi for a short stay and I promise you that, you would never regret it for the place doesn’t looks like a hostel at all but rather a guest house and that’s my observation and experience. Want to also use this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the able working team at Sign and Silence Hostel for making my stay a memorable one. Thank you 🙏.

The staff was extremely nice. Almost everybody who works is deaf and this really adds to the experience. It was a great experience overall and it was nice to interact with them. We even learned some sign language.

There was no light bulb in the bathroom, the one man church next door was REALLY loud for hours. It made it impossible for me to work or rest. Communication with the manager often not very punctual or clear.
