The sink is a bit wobbly, the rest was fine.

Breakfast is nice. On Saturday we had to leave early so they packed a light breakfast for us to go. The location is good. One day they ran out of water however they solved it well, by the next day the water was fixed again. You can get clothes sewn or buy clothes. By doing this you are supporting the young ladies who work there. Warm water is available. Ambiance is nice.

I wish they left a thermos out at nights with hot water. The kitchen closes at 9, so if you need some tea after that you're out of luck. I wish there was a variety in breakfast. If you stay there pass 3-4 days you kinda need something else or maybe even the same but cooked in different ways. They used eggs a lot, between breakfast and dinner. I wish instead of a chicken leg as the meat, they could sometimes have fish. They can't do anything about this one but there's a Pentacostal church beside on the dorm side and it's very very loud. I felt like I was inside the church beside the box. However if you went to the lounge they have you wouldn't hear much. Overall it was a great stay.

I loved the location, it was a 20 minute walk from a major mall. The size of the room exceeded my expectations. Having a ceiling fan as well as well a standing fan was helpful. The staff was helpful for the most part. I loved the systems they have in place for ordering dinner, buying water/juice etc.

It is actually a women’s empowerment organisation so all the profits go towards that. The food you can order is exceptional. Breakfast is big. Staff are super friendly.

This place has style and flair! I very much enjoyed my stay at Tumi Hostel and I am planning to return at some point. The home-made communal dinner creates a nice space to exchange with other guests (lots of international travelers). The breakfast is outstanding with brewed coffee (above general Standards in Ghana) homemade bread rolls, and fresh fruit juice. The hostel is beautifully located in a traditional residential area of Kumasi.

One of the most vibrant hostels in West Africa.

The location makes it a little difficult to get to the centre. Some beds will have a charging port next to them, but some also won't.

I don't usually write reviews, but this hostel may have been one of the most vibrant I've stayed in: it isn't just a hostel, it's also a hub of foreigners and locals. Most foreigners staying in or around Kumasi will know about TUMI, and during the weekly international dinner on Friday evenings many will join for the vibes. And to add to this, the staff, food, public spaces, and atmosphere are amazing! Not to mention you'll be supporting the TUMI's vision for women's empowerment, which you can see happening right on site.

Amazing food! Great women's empowerment project. I had my skirt sewn there, super fast! Due to an emergency we had in Tamale hospital, staff accomodated our needs to change the date of our stay the very last minute. We really appreciated that! Coming back, I arrived very late in the night and there was someone there to check me in which I was happy for!

I stayed in a private room first and in the dorm after. While overall I had a great experience some of the mattresses were pretty hard, that's maybe something to consider for people with backpain :)

Very spacious rooms and bathrooms and cleaned daily. Rich meals and tasty snacks all homemade and vegetarian (meat option on request). Also the staff is really kind and helpful, as were the other guests.
